She loves being scratched & petted but does give cat little nips (pinches) while you are petting her or brushing her, LOL! But she isn’t intending to hurt you, just letting you know it tickles. She and Peaches are from the same litter and were born in the shipyard. She is spayed and is approximately 5 years old. Tiger is a Calico with lots of white and lovely markings. She is a bit overweight being in a multi-cat household. We would be happy to recommend some low carb foods so she can loose weight but still get proper nutrition. She gets along well with other cats, but can be adopted solo or with her buddy Peaches. See pic of them cuddling together! Sweet Girl Peaches – Special Needs Kitty Contact dcmcats@yahoo.com Peaches is a sweet cat who craves attention! She was rescued from a shipyard where she was found abandoned with another cat. She is so very sweet and is affectionate, and loving and easy going. She is spayed and is about 5 years old. She is great with other cats and loves to wash one of the rescued feral cats. She just needs some help getting in shape! She is a big Calico with a pretty face and beautiful green eyes. She is a special needs kitty who requires help with grooming until she looses weight, she cannot reach all her parts. Her rescuer is unable to keep her separated from other cats and works long hours, so she has access to food all the time. She requires a home where she can be fed separately and not free fed, so she can be more active. She liked to run on an exercise wheel when she was thinner. Peaches gets along well with other cats, but can be adopted solo or with her buddy Tiger. See pic of them cuddling together. Her rescuer is looking for someone who is experienced with special needs cats or with cats who need to watch their weight. Peaches will need to loose weight gradually so that she does not overtax her liver, or feel deprived. We are happy to recommend some low carb cat foods for her special diet. Beautiful Callie, A Chill Mellow Cat Contact: dcmcats@yahoo.com Callie is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who showed up and had 3 kittens before she could be spayed. She is a sweet low key girl who likes to chill out and spend her days cuddling in her various cat beds cuddling her stuffed animal toys-her favorite being lamb chop! She does not like to be alone. Callie loves being inside having people and soft beds and plenty to eat. She is fluffy with medium length fur and is very soft. She very much enjoys hanging out with people and being pet and sitting next to her humans, but not sitting on your lap and is not too fond with getting picked up. But Callie is happy to be brushed and pet all day long! She is ok with other mellow cats but doesn’t seek out other kitties. She will play occasionally play with wand toys but really prefers to chill with you. She will watch what you do and is a quiet kitty. Callie would be a great choice for someone as a companion cat for someone or a couple who have a quiet home and like to chill out or for an older person who prefers relaxing to partying. She is a beautiful and healthy cat! Callie had a full blood panel done and is fully vaccinated and tested negative for both Feluk and FIF. She had some surgery on her for an injury when she was rescued but it has healed completely. 4wk old female diluted tortoiseshell found in Gramercy living near a ditch with her brother Murray. We were able to get her into our rescue and provide her warmth and love and an endless bowl of food which she definitely loves. She loves to sleep next to her brother Murray and Moore and can be seen playing with them and stealing their toys. She is still a little fearful of humans like her brother Moore but will let you pick her up but still gets scared. We are working with her daily and hope she will be ready for adoption soon. Mochi is a playful and silly cat! He might seem quite a bit anxious upon introduction, but get to know him and he's very fun to have around! He just turned 7 years old and has a brother named Boba, which is also up for adoption. Mochi is indoors-only, a submissive cat, is very clingy, and loves thigh-smacks, being rolled around the carpet, and chicken. Mochi also enjoys hanging around on couch armrests. He has a tendency to eat very quickly, so slow feeding techniques are highly recommended. He would likely do best in a home with a patient owner. Aside from eating too fast, Mochi has no medical issues. If you play with him, expect lots of running and energy!We are giving up Mochi and Boba due to financial issues. They are brothers, but you should adopt them separately due to recent conflict. Submit an application if you think you're the right person to give them a forever home!

He may insist to be left alone upon first meeting him (mostly because he hates being forced to do things), but once you get used to him, he becomes a VERY big snuggle bug! He just turned 7 years old and has a brother named Mochi, which is also up for adoption. Boba is indoors-only, a dominant cat, is quite independent, and is a bit of a couch potato. He loves taking naps in his owner's laps. He would do best in a home with a somewhat experienced owner and no other dominant animals. Boba is healthy and has only ever had 1 medical issue with scratching himself, but thankfully it has become almost completely cured over the years. If you play with him, expect him to be a big pouncer! Boba insists on being the household's snuggle bug!We are giving up Boba and Mochi due to financial issues.
