She loves being scratched & petted but does give cat little nips (pinches) while you are petting her or brushing her, LOL! But she isn’t intending to hurt you, just letting you know it tickles. She and Peaches are from the same litter and were born in the shipyard. She is spayed and is approximately 5 years old. Tiger is a Calico with lots of white and lovely markings. She is a bit overweight being in a multi-cat household. We would be happy to recommend some low carb foods so she can loose weight but still get proper nutrition. She gets along well with other cats but can be adopted solo. Sweet Girl Peaches – Special Needs Kitty Contact dcmcats@yahoo.com Peaches is a sweet cat who craves attention! She was rescued from a shipyard where she was found abandoned with another cat. She is so very sweet and is affectionate, and loving and easy going. She is spayed and is about 5 years old. She is great with other cats and loves to wash one of the rescued feral cats. She just needs some help getting in shape! She is a big Calico with a pretty face and beautiful green eyes. She is a special needs kitty who requires help with grooming until she looses weight, she cannot reach all her parts. Her rescuer is unable to keep her separated from other cats and works long hours, so she has access to food all the time. She requires a home where she can be fed separately and not free fed, so she can be more active. She liked to run on an exercise wheel when she was thinner. Her rescuer is looking for someone who is experienced with special needs cats or with cats who need to watch their weight. Peaches will need to loose weight gradually so that she does not overtax her liver, or feel deprived. We are happy to recommend some low carb cat foods for her special diet. We’ve had Lucy since birth and she’s been a wonderful kitty! She was an outdoor kitty until just last summer. Unfortunately I have a severe cat allergy and I’m unable to touch her to give the head scratches and snuggles that she craves. My kids are all grown and out of the house now. She’s getting up in years but she is still jumping up and down to her food (about 2 ft off the ground bc of our dog who loves to eat it. She and Maggie (springer spaniel) love each other and can be found snuggling together on occasion. I’d just like to see her getting the attention that she deserves. She is 12 yrs old and going strong 🐱 My young grandchildren (5 & under) are also starting to bother her so she would do best with older children. Please only consider adopting her if you want to a sweet and lovable senior kitty! 🩷

She loves treats specifically temptations. She loves to play and get rubs. She doesn't really like to get picked up and is a little skittish.

Helen is bonded with Olasard. Helen is a soft-hearted, older cat who needs a little time, patience, and a safe space to truly show her sweet side. She’s the kind of cat who doesn’t rush into friendship but once she feels secure, she blossoms. She’s bonded with a feline companion, Olasard, she’s lived with her whole life and would ideally go to a home that understands that bond and can let both cats stay together. Helen doesn’t mind gentle pets or being held, but she appreciates affection on her own terms: curling up close to your feet, quietly lounging nearby, and playing softly with toys when she feels comfortable. Helen prefers calm, peaceful environments so a home without chaos or a lot of commotion will help her truly relax and open up. With time, love, and understanding, she has so much love to give. Helen is also eating a special food that caters to her kidney health. No other complications have been seen.  She will lightly nip when she is over stimulated and or done playing but she welcomes love.  If you’re someone patient and kind, looking for a gentle companion who’ll slowly warm up, Helen just might be your purr-fect match.
