Calico kittens & cats in Slidell, Louisiana

About 9 years ago, we adopted Pipi from Petsmart. She started as an inside cat for about 2 years. After that she finally wanted to go outside. She loves the outside, chasing squirrels and lizards or just hanging out. We let her inside during storms, fireworks, or sometimes in the Winter when the weather approaches freezing temperatures. She is house broken and took to the litter box on the first day and never had an "accident". While outside, she is not a roamer and rarely leaves the yard. She is a great cat.

Bailee is very sweet and friendly but she does have a shy side that can cause her to act like a… cat lol she has been with me since October of 2017 when I adopted her in college. I love her and so does my side of the family. I had my child in 2020 who is still fond of Bailee, but also very scared. About 5 months ago Bailee had an out burst where she attacked me and my mom and I was forced to have to seclude her from everyone but me. This isn’t her first attack with in the last few years and rarely happen but her being secluded is not how I want her to live. I really want a good home for her. She is very kept to herself and loves rubs. She does not like other animals and has been like that since adoption

Eloise is sweet, likes a lot of attention, and loves to spend time with you. She likes to play with a laser or feathers on stick. Currently she lives with a calm dog and 2 other cats. Eloise does not like to be chased by humans or animals. She is 11 years old. Her former owner adopted her as a kitten. The owner decided to get a dog and ended up with dog who would not leave Eloise alone. After a year of her hiding I took her in to foster until a nice quiet forever home can be found.

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS. Mississippi is overpopulated with too many animals, not enough adopters, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background.  ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations.We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call.  We are currently unable to adopt pets to MA and RI residents. Very sweet and affectionate. She has been spayed, and combo tested for feline leukemia/feline aids. She is positive for FIV, but FIV-positive and negative cats can live together as long as all cats have been spayed or neutered. Hello! My name is Meiko and I am 3 years old. I absolutely adore getting pets and snuggling (it’s actually my favorite pastime!)
