Story
Malibu is around 10 years old. She is a sweet cat to adults and older kids who can be calm around her. She is very skittish around my 7-year-old son and other rambunctious children. We took her and another cat in Nov 2025 from a friend who had 5 cats and couldn't keep up with that demand. That friend has had her since she was a very young kitten. She has been indoor/outdoor since we've had her. Malibu is very vocal and loves attention from calmer people, but may be slow to adjust. As sweet as she is, she does urinate outside of the litter box and I've spent a lot of money, time and energy trying to break her of this behavior, so sadly, we cannot keep her. She was just updated with a rabies vaccine and the vet ruled out urinary issues. I have started her on antianxiety meds to see if this will help, but it is too soon to tell if it has helped.I think she would make a great pet for a home without kids or a lot of chaos.

Story
Hello, my name is Emilee and I am reach out with such a heavy heart because due to my current situation I have to rehome my best friends. This is piper. She is a sweet diva, if you know you know. She is really just a playful shadow is is too smart for her own good. For the last year and I half I have tried everything in my power to keep our family together but the time has finally come and we have no more options. She would be best off in a home with out other pets. She can tolerate other cats but that’s about all. She loves to be out on the patio on a leash. All I want for her is peace and happiness and someone to love her as much as I do.

Story
Hi there! My name is Seney, (DOB 8-30-25) and I'm a beautiful young calico girl with a big personality. I love making new friends and will happily greet you with a chirp, meow, or full conversation - because I always have something important to say! Whether I'm telling you about my day, asking for pets, or reminding you that it's almost mealtime, I enjoy chatting with my favorite people. When I'm not busy talking, you'll find me chasing toys, exploring every corner of the house, or showing off my playful side. I'm friendly, fun, and great with kids, making me a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loving feline friend. If you're searching for a sweet, social, and entertaining cat who will keep you smiling and never leave you wondering what's on her mind, I think we should meet. I can't wait to tell you all about myself in person! Seney has been spayed, given age/weight appropriate vaccines, and dewormed. The adoption fee is $200. Adoption fees include spay, age/weight appropriate vaccines and deworming. If you are interested in adopting this talkative little girl, please complete an adoption request form on our website www.pawsanimalrescue.net. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Story
Hello, darling. My name is Winona, (DOB 4-29-23) and if you're looking for a cat who believes there is no such thing as too much love, you've found her. I've already had one very important job in life-I was a mama, and I took excellent care of my babies. Now it's my turn to be spoiled and cherished in a furever home of my own. I'm a young calico girl with a gentle heart and a quiet nature. I absolutely adore people and will happily spend my days snuggled up beside you, soaking up pets, cuddles, and all the attention you're willing to give. Kisses are one of my favorite things, and I'll gladly return your affection with purrs and loving looks. Maybe even a kiss on the cheek. I'm friendly, affectionate, and happiest when I'm close to my humans. Whether we're curled up on the couch, relaxing in bed, or just spending time together, I'll be right there enjoying every moment. Winona has been spayed, given age/weight appropriate vaccines, and dewormed. The adoption fee is $150. Adoption fees include spay, age/weight appropriate vaccines and deworming. If you are interested in adopting this sweet, affectionate girl, please complete an adoption request form on our website www.pawsanimalrescue.net. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Story
Ash (DOB 2-16-26) is a beautiful calico kitten with a gentle spirit and a heart that's worth taking the time to discover. She's still a little unsure about people and prefers to take things at her own pace—but offer her a tasty treat, and you'll quickly find yourself on her list of favorite humans! Ash absolutely loves the company of other cats and would thrive in a home with a confident feline friend to help her continue building trust. She's also comfortable around cat-friendly dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. Ash is spayed, has received all of her first-year vaccinations, and is ready to find a patient, understanding family who will let her blossom on her own timeline. Watching a shy kitten grow into a confident companion is one of life's greatest rewards, and Ash is ready to begin that journey with her forever family. If you have a quiet home, a few treats, and plenty of love to give, Ash just might be the perfect match for you. Ash has been spayed, given age/weight appropriate vaccines, and dewormed. The adoption fee is $200. Adoption fees include spay, age/weight appropriate vaccines and deworming. If you are interested in adopting this quiet little girl, please complete an adoption request form on our website www.pawsanimalrescue.net. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Story
Hello there, I'm Ypsilanti-but my friends call me "Ypsi". (DOB 2-3-19) I’m what you'd call the perfect balance of everything. I'm friendly and enjoy attention (especially when it's about me, as it should be), but I'm also an independent lady who doesn't need to be glued to your side 24/7. I'll come find you when I'm ready for some love-and trust me, you'll feel very special when I do. I have a playful streak, too. Give me a toy and I'll show you my moves. After all, a beautiful girl has a reputation to maintain. Speaking of beautiful...have you seen me? I mean, really. I'm a total stunner. I'm also a quiet companion, so if you're looking for a calm, peaceful home with just the right touch of personality, I'm your girl. I won't demand constant attention, but I do appreciate it-and I'll soak it up when it comes my way. Oh, and let's not forget one very important thing: I love food. Mealtime is my favorite time, and I'll be sure to remind you (politely, of course) when it's getting close. So if you're looking for a gorgeous, easygoing, slightly sophisticated companion with a playful side and a love for snacks...I think we might be a perfect match. Ypsilanti has been spayed, given age/weight appropriate vaccines, and dewormed. The adoption fee is $150. Adoption fees include spay, age appropriate vaccines and deworming. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please complete an adoption request form on our website www.pawsanimalrescue.net. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. Story
Wocket Pocket is a sweet, active adult male tabby cat looking for his forever home. Him and his brother, Fox in Sox, came to SBZ after losing their home (they look almost identical except for their eye color!). They were both very scared, but they have thrived in their foster home. Wocket Pocket's favorite things to do are play with other cats (he has a lot of energy!), lounge with other cats (he shares the same cat bed with his brother even though they barely fit in it!), and eat food, ANY type of food! He does a little "wink" with his right eye when he looks at you (it's adorable)! He doesn't like pets on the head, but he does love his chin and shoulders rubbed. He jumps up on his foster mom's desk each day and lounges in a lush cat bed next to her and "winks" at her! It's too darn cute! He really enjoys wet food and cat nip! He has enjoyed his nightly cat nip before bed. He is very playful with another young female cat in his foster home, and he enjoys lounging in cat beds with his brother. He may be an adult, but his zoomies are something to see! He loves any type of cat toy (mice, springs, balls), and he seems to enjoy the occasional laser to chase. He would love to go home with his brother, Fox in Sox, if an adopter would be willing to adopt both of them. If not, he would love a household with another cat that wouldn't mind being playful and active with him but also willing to lounge in a cat bed with him. He doesn't seem to care for dogs, and he would do best in a quite home without young kids. Please consider adding this sweet boy to your home! Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com

Story
**Meet Chimenee Schmickets 🖤🐾** Sometimes, life writes the most unexpected stories. Chimenee Schmickets is estimated to be around a year old. He wasn't the cat our volunteer was searching for, but he was definitely the cat she was meant to find. While desperately looking for her own missing kitty, our volunteer came across a skinny black cat who was begging for affection. He was underweight, lonely, and more than ready to trust the first kind person who stopped to help. She scooped him up, brought him to Saved by Zade, and continued her search for her own beloved cat. For Chimenee, it turned out to be the luckiest day of his life. Since arriving in care, this handsome boy has completely blossomed. His confidence has grown, his once dull coat has transformed into a sleek, glossy black, and he now looks every bit like a tiny house panther. (A house panther who, thankfully, is much more interested in snuggles than stalking the savanna.) Chimenee has discovered the finer things in life: batting around his favorite mouse toy, curling up on a fluffy bed, soaking up affection from his people, and enjoying regular meals that have helped him fill out into the gorgeous boy he was always meant to be. Now all that's missing is a forever family. If you're looking for a sweet, resilient kitty with a heart as big as his emerald eyes and the looks of a miniature panther, Chimenee Schmickets is patiently waiting to write the next chapter of his story with you. 🖤 ✨ **Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com

Story
**Meet Cinder-Ella! 🖤🤍** Every fairy tale deserves a happy ending, and we're determined to help Cinder-Ella find hers. This beautiful tuxedo girl is approximately 7 to 8 months old and was found all alone in a community member's garage. Despite every effort to find her family, no one came looking for her. It's something we'll never understand because this little sweetheart is absolutely irresistible. Cinder-Ella is sweet, engaging, and full of charm. She loves people and is quick to seek out affection, happily leaning in for pets and ear scratches. She has the cutest little chirp that she'll use to let you know she's nearby or hoping for a little extra attention. Once you meet her, it's impossible not to smile. She enjoys the company of other cats and would likely do well in a home with children. While she hasn't been introduced to dogs, her calm, easygoing personality makes us think she'd do well with a cat-friendly dog, provided they are introduced slowly and thoughtfully. We may never know how this precious girl ended up without a family, but we do know this: her happily ever after is still waiting to be written. If you're looking for a loving companion who will fill your home with gentle chirps, purrs, and endless affection, Cinder-Ella is ready to meet you. Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com
