Meow Meow was found as a stray after his previous owner moved away, but he’s always been an outdoor cat from what we were told by neighbors. With love and routine, he’ll adjust beautifully to indoor comfort or a safe indoor lifestyle. Chester is a quiet, sensitive boy who's been learning that the world — and the people in it — aren’t so scary after all. He’s what we lovingly call a “cat’s cat” — he finds comfort and confidence in the company of other feline friends, and would thrive in a calm home with at least one other friendly cat. Chester is very shy at first and takes time to build trust with humans. But with gentle patience, a quiet environment, and a soft approach, he’ll start to come out of his shell — and when he does, you’ll see a truly special cat emerge. He’s grown to enjoy affection, even seeking it out once he feels safe. Curling up beside you, soaking in gentle pets, and especially belly rubs are some of his favorite ways to show his trust. Chester will need a slow introduction to his new home, with gradual changes and time to adjust at his own pace. Loud noises and fast movements can still startle him, so a calm, understanding adopter is a must. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background.  ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations.We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care.
