This is bird. She is under the threat of euthanasia!!! She was taken in foster care but isn’t doing good in the environment!!! Please read. Bird was injured by a dog and then someone attempted to POISON her. She hasn’t been the same since and her owners abandoned her. She’s currently in foster care. She gets along fine with cats that keep to themselves. She needs to find a furever human as soon as possible, she keeps to herself and is kind of anti social. She doesn’t know how to climb things or jump. Please give her a chance. She’s spayed with shots. She’s food driven and is a really good cat she just needs a chance!!

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS. Mississippi is overpopulated with too many animals, not enough adopters, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background.  ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations.We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call.  We are currently unable to adopt pets to MA and RI residents. Sweet, tiny little Myrtle (7#) is around 10 years old and has stomatitis, like most older kitties. She is missing her lower teeth, but she had a recent steroid shot to curb inflammation.  With good quality wet food, and a little TLC, she will prove to be worth it. She is full of love and is very affectionate.  She loves to play with her toy mice. She was rescued from street life, now looking for her forever person, and so deserving.  Leukemia/FIV tested negative. Shots current, microchipped. Cinnamon was rescued with her kittens who have been adopted. She is shy and quiet, likes to sit on back of the couch if she’s not hiding underneath it ! lol when company comes over she’s no where to be seen. This gorgeous gal needs a true cat hero to adopt her , who will be patient with her insecurity. She likes to be in quiet places but warms up once feels safe.

Bombay is affectionate, calm and easy going. He is friendly, loyal and responds to his name ‘Bombay’ with a sweet “meow!” He gets along with other cats but does have a habit to urine spray to show dominance. He is a special needs kitty as he is on daily medication for megacolon. Bombay is on prescription food due to experiencing urinary blockage. Ally is a beautiful and sweet kitty. She enjoys a window seat as she is mesmerized by the birds and butterflies that flutter before her eyes. Then, Ally seeks out her hammock or a sunny place for an afternoon nap. Ally likes to keep all four paws grounded, she is not fond of being picked up and held; however, with time and patience you may be able to win her over. She welcomes head petting! Ally shows fear and discomfort from loud noises such as vacuum cleaners and thunder. A cat cube of her own would be ideal for her comfort zone. Ally’s ideal home is one with older children. She tolerates cats and dogs if they keep their distance. She loves Harvest Dental treats! Ally is 4 years old with a harlequin pattern (white w/large silver tabby patches). Dot is loving and mischievous. You will find her hanging out on the back of the sofa where she can easily join her human companion for head bunts. Dot will swat with her left paw. She thinks a window blind cord is a play toy. Dot's favorite game is 'catch-me-if-you-can!' She will help herself to your Lasagna. Dot is a 1 year old black and white with a tuxedo pattern.
