Sissy is around 1 years old and she just finished nursing her six babies and is now looking for a home of her own. She has had two rounds of dewormer and has a topical flea treatment, up-to-date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed. If anyone can please give this precious girl a forever home please let us know. She has tested negative for FIV/FELV/HW and has a 30-day topical kitten Revolution treatment.

Miranda loves attention and petting from people, but she must be the only cat because she smacks the fire out of other cats. This is probably because she had to fend for herself and fight off other cats and who knows what else in the trailer park where she wandered around for a couple of years before we got her. She had to be fierce to protect her babies, she had at least two litters according to the two young women who fed her but didn't let her inside. Now in a loving foster home, she is enjoying being inside, safe, and no longer hungry or fighting. If you want only one pet, Miranda will bask in your attention and make a lovely companion. Melanie is a 10-year-old short hair calico. She is very sweet and affectionate, but can be shy with new people. Currently she is in a house with two dogs and another cat, plus a new baby. All of these other cohabitants have stressed Melanie to the point where she prefers to spend most of her day in a closet. The ideal home would be where she can be an only cat and receive all the attention. She is missing her top 2 canine teeth. This was assessed and taken care of by our vet. She is otherwise healthy and does not have any dietary restrictions or issues. Melanie would greatly benefit from a loving home where she can spend the rest of her golden years as an only cat.

Both of these conditions impact the immune system, and result in a lessened ability to fight off infection. Unfortunately, the average lifespan of cats afflicted by FeLV is drastically decreased, at roughly 2-3 years following infection. That being said, they typically lead happy, normal lives for the majority of this time period. FeLV is transmissible to other cats, so Jessie will need to be the only cat in his forever family.
