Story
Say hello to Jesse, a 2-year-old charmer who's not just a cat, but a certified loverboy! With a heart as full as his purrs, Jesse embodies pure love and affection. This cuddly cat is on a mission to win your heart and fill your home with warmth and snuggles.Jesse dreams of a life filled with soft blankets, sunny windowsills, and endless cuddles. He's eager to be more than just a pet; he wants to be your confidant, your snuggle buddy, and your forever friend. With gentle paws that lightly tap your hand or face, he'll politely remind you that he's in need of your loving strokes. But it's not just about the cuddles; Jesse's sweet and kind nature shines through in every interaction. His excitement is palpable when you walk through the door, making you feel like the most special person in the world. Imagine having a companion who's overjoyed simply because you exist. That's Jesse for you.In a world where everyone's looking for that perfect connection, you might just find yourself humming, "I wish that I was Jesse's girl (or boy)!" because, with Jesse, every day is a little brighter, every moment a bit sweeter.Don't miss your chance to welcome this bundle of love into your life. Jesse is ready to make your home his forever paradise. While getting Jessie ready for adoption, we discovered that Jessie has both FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Both of these conditions impact the immune system, and result in a lessened ability to fight off infection. Unfortunately, the average lifespan of cats afflicted by FeLV is drastically decreased, at roughly 2-3 years following infection. That being said, they typically lead happy, normal lives for the majority of this time period. FeLV is transmissible to other cats, so Jessie will need to be the only cat in his forever family.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
?Meet Spatula?Spatula was brought in by Animal Control as a semi-feral tiny kitten. His first day with us was definitely a scary one for him and we found ourselves unable to complete his intake exam. Not wanting to add to his stress, we decided to give him some time, which worked! After a good night sleep, a belly full of food and extra love from his caregivers, he quickly decompressed, allowing us to complete his medical exam.Sadly, his test results were not what we hoped for as he tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus which is incurable. Although his life expectancy is 2 to 3 years, FeLV+ cats have been known to flourish in the right environment often showing little to no symptoms for the vast majority of their lives. This has not brought him down and his zest for life is contagious and vibrant, he is after all a kitten who loves to do kitten things. FeLV+ cats can live with other FeLV+ cats with no risk to either's health.

Story
Lily is such a sweet and loving girl. She has been spayed, rabies vaccine, fvrcp vaccine, combo tested negative for FIV/FELV/HW, dewormed, Revolution plus 30-day topical flea treatment. Lily is a very sweet girl but she does not like other cats. She hasn't been around a dog so we don't know how she does around them but she would definitely need to be the only Kitty in the house.

Story
Fergus, DSH, Neutered male Tuxedo, vaccines current, DOB 1/22/17 NOT A LAP CAT PFC is now charging an adoption fee. 75.00 for a female and 50 for a male. However, our kitties who were vetted before this change are still adoption fee free. Fergus is the sweetest boy who is looking for a home without other kitties or no other alphas. He’s very loving and is so much fun to watch as he plays with himself on the cat tree. He chases his own tail around the scratching post and it’s so funny and cute. He was adopted and returned due to adopter circumstances, nothing he did. He’s a very sweet loving boy. Likes to get and give attention. If you think Fergus would fit into your home, you will need to fill out an adoption application, which can be downloaded from partnersforcats.org, or email partnersforcats@gmail.com and request an application to be emailed to you. Fergus currently lives in the South Mountains area, next door to the State Park. His would love to discuss him with you. Her number is 828-437-8769 . Partners for Cats does not currently charge an adoption fee. We feel this is a better way of finding more homes for more kitties. However, we operate on Donations, with no other income. If you take a kitty from us, and can afford to, we would appreciate your making a donation to help defray the cost of vetting these beautiful kitties. We will never ask you for Money when we turn a cat/kitten over to you.

Story
Allie, DSH Gray and White spayed female. Vaccines current, Est. DOB 1/16/18 Allie likes nothing better than following you around the house and being held and petted. Don’t let her sweetness fool you, she’s a determined little girl who has a mind of her own. Her stubborn streak comes out when you need to “doctor” her. Make sure she knows you are da boss and you’ll do fine. She love loves loves attention and will be your best friend. Allie gets on well with other kittens and is still of an age where if you don’t have another kitten or something to keep her company she can’t move in with you unless you let her bring a friend along too. If you are interested in adopting Allie, the first step is to fill out an adoption form which can be found here and email it to partnersforcats@gmail.com http://www.partnersforcats.org/adopt-your-bff.html Allie lives in the So. Mtns. State Park area with Jean as her caregiver. If you are interested in adopting her, fill out and submit the application and Jean will call you to discuss your bringing Allie into your home.
