They’ll be so happy to have a FURR-ever home.  Learn more about their amazing story below. May 19, 2025  RED FISH (orange tabby) & SHRIMP (white/calico) have come back & are in Room 3. They are doing really well considering & need LOTS of gentle love. SHRIMP will hiss at everyone, but she is just scared & you can pet & love on her. RED FISH is super sweet but scared. These poor cats have been gone TWO years & now back at FURR. I love them both & will see to it that their future WILL be better! Our sweet Hazel is about 2 years old and was abandoned in a parking lot. She is just as affectionate and loving as can be! Hazel is young, but has a real Mama Bear vibe with other kittens.

He has consistently demonstrated stunning affection and a loving demeanor, with a particular fondness for food, catnip, and having his ears and chin rubbed. However, he also exhibits a strong sense of independence. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Prospective adopters who rent their residences are advised to verify their leasing office`s pet policy prior to adoption, as many establishments have revised their policies regarding pets.

A511164 Approx 1 year old spayed female This young female was brought to the shelter as a stray, suffering from flea infestation and severe ear mite impaction. Following treatment for fleas and ear mites, as well as ear cleaning, her comfort level has significantly improved. Shelter staff and volunteers have consistently observed her to be exceptionally sweet and affectionate. Adoption hours this week are Monday through Wednesday, 11:00-3:30. Please note that the shelter will be closed from November 27 to November 30 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Prospective adopters who rent their homes must first confirm with their leasing office that cat ownership is permitted.
