This girls name is Bella Vita, but she goes by many different nicknames! Most of which are BV, Vita, Beeta, Eeper Beeper, Beeper, Beepie, and Splunky! She is a playful girl who will be officially 1 years old come August 30. We had rescued Vita, along with her momma and siblings, after they had just been born. Vita is a very sweet, clingy, and playful girl—and she loves to eep and beep her way through life! Snuggles lived with her fur mom until her fur mom went into full nursing care about 9 or 10 months ago. I agreed to foster her and seek a new home temporarily. She is aproximately 11 years old. Snuggles needs a lot of pets and will sit like a human in your lap while watching you play on your cell phone or computer. She will pester you for pets if she doesnt get enough. Snuggles has learned about the bathroom faucet. She would love to accomany you in the bathroom and ask you to turn on the faucet to a slow cold stream for her to enjoy while you shower or whatever. The harness in the photo will go with her. She does fine with it and the leash unless fireworks are going off. She doesnt walk with you on the leash. She has always been indoors until a month or so ago. She got out and decided she liked it as there are mice, baby birds and baby bunnys to catch and kill :(. I cannot chase her or give her the attention she needs. We are hoping you can give her a good loving home.

Baby Billie! This playful and cuddly kitten (DOB 3/2026) is searching for a forever home. She loves playing with toys and other cats. Would prefer Billie to be adopted with her sister, Beau, being together is all they've ever known. loves face rubs, kisses, playing, climbing, food -doesn't like loud noises Billie is the sweetest kitten and will just fall asleep being held. She has the cutest orange paws and pink nose. All 3 kittens I fostered lost their mother before they were weaned off of milk. I bottle fed them and nursed them back to health after taking them to the vet and learning they needed eye treatment and had worms. They've been so healthy ever since and very playful with each other.

Say hello to Virginia!Virginia is a gorgeous little tabby who recently spent her first birthday here at FDHS. We made sure she got plenty of extra love and pampering that day, but it still tugs at our hearts knowing she’s spent so much of her young life in the shelter instead of a home of her own.Virginia came to us over a year ago as a teeny tiny kitten from a tough situation. She had been living in a home with multiple other cats and arrived very scared and not well socialized. Thankfully, she was able to spend several weeks in a wonderful foster home where she started learning what life as a house cat is all about. By the time she returned to the shelter, she was much more comfortable with her caregivers and not nearly as afraid of people.Virginia is a cat’s cat through and through. She really relies on the comfort and presence of other cats for confidence and security, so we believe she would do best in a home with feline friends to keep her company. She can still be a little skittish when meeting new people and tends to be more of an independent girl, but if you give her time to settle in, you’ll see what a sweet girl she truly is. She’s friendly with the people she knows and loves spending her afternoons lounging in her cat tower and soaking up the sunshine.This pretty girl has spent so much of her young life in a shelter environment. Marsh is a handsome tabby with the chubbiest cheeks around!A few weeks ago, Marsh was found alone in a ditch on Behnfeldt Road. Thankfully, a kind man working in the area stopped to help and brought him to FDHS so he could have a chance at finding his happily ever after. It's pretty clear that Marsh belonged to someone at some point. He's incredibly friendly with staff and volunteers and is always looking for an opportunity to sneak in a few extra pets. If you're standing still, there's a good chance Marsh will be rubbing against your legs trying to convince you that attention should be a full-time job.This easygoing guy gets along great with the other cats he shares his space with and doesn't seem too concerned about the dogs nearby either. Hi, I’m Sammy!I’ve been hanging out at FDHS for a few months now, and I’m starting to think I might be one of the shelter’s best kept secrets. When I first got here, my best friend Bella was by my side. We spent our days snoozing together and keeping each other company until she found her forever family. I’m so happy for her… but I have to admit, I miss having my buddy around.Lucky for me, I’m a pretty easygoing guy. My favorite hobbies include lounging, purring, accepting pets, and turning any available lap into my personal bed. If you’re looking for a cat who’s content just hanging out by your side, I think we’d get along great.I do well with the other cats here, but I’m such a laid back fella that I usually let the bigger personalities have their way and tend to get bullied.
