Kiwi and Muffin are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. ❤️Both were found as tiny kittens in the spring, one year apart, and were bottle-fed from a very young age. Kiwi (Siamese) turned 4 in May, and Muffin (Calico) turned 3 in May.They are incredibly sweet, friendly, and laid-back cats who love people and each other. They have been raised indoors since their rescue and have their claws. They do wonderfully with children and dogs—I have a baby and a large dog, and both cats have always been gentle and patient with them. Even when my baby gets a little too curious, they simply walk away rather than react.Fostering these girls has been such a joy, and this decision has not been easy. I love them and will be sad to see them go, so finding the right home is important to me. I would love to see them go to someone who will keep them together for the rest of their lives.If you think you could be that family, please reach out. 🐾

Chili & Tofu are a BONDED-PAIR of sister cats. They have never been separated and cannot be separated. These two are the sweetest pair of cats! They LOVE human affection and will always want to curl up next to you when they’re not climbing their cat tower, sleeping in a sunbeam, or playing with their beloved lamb toy! They don’t require you to be home all of the time as they really do keep each other company, but they would be optimal for someone with a lot of love to give, or even a household with children! Chili is a beautiful (& slightly clumsy) black cat, and Tofu is a little smaller Calico!

Hey, I’m Rocky! Four years old, tabby, and very into being everyone’s friend.I came to the shelter with some of my cat buddies after my person could no longer care for us. I was really loved in my last home, and it shows. I’m social, snuggly, and always down to hang out. I’ve lived with a bunch of other cats and was real good pals with the family dog too. I’d groom him, snuggle him, and generally act like we were the same species. I love attention, playtime, and being where the action is.I'm looking forever home where I can get lots of attention and spend the rest of my nine lives being doted on! Marsh is a handsome tabby with the chubbiest cheeks around!A few weeks ago, Marsh was found alone in a ditch on Behnfeldt Road. Thankfully, a kind man working in the area stopped to help and brought him to FDHS so he could have a chance at finding his happily ever after. It's pretty clear that Marsh belonged to someone at some point. He's incredibly friendly with staff and volunteers and is always looking for an opportunity to sneak in a few extra pets. If you're standing still, there's a good chance Marsh will be rubbing against your legs trying to convince you that attention should be a full-time job.This easygoing guy gets along great with the other cats he shares his space with and doesn't seem too concerned about the dogs nearby either. Between his good looks, laid-back personality, and affectionate nature, Marsh is going to make one lucky family a wonderful companion. **Neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention**

Mr. Sammy is a big, chunky black cat who came to us with his bestie Bella (also available!) through no fault of their own.Sammy has been such a sweet, easygoing guy with our staff. He loves being pet, leans right in for attention, and is known for giving the cutest little nose boops. And his purr? You’ll hear it the second you start loving on him. He also seems pretty bonded to Bella, and the two of them are often found cuddled up together, just hanging out and enjoying each other’s company.Sammy is a low-maintenance, chill kind of cat who would do best in a quieter home where he can relax and get a good amount of attention.
