Calico kittens & cats in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Henderson (Hennie for short!) and her sister Elko and brother Sparks are super special kittens. Whats so special about them? They all three have cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), or wobbly cat syndrome. CH is a rare neurological disorder that affects a cat's balance and coordination. It occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls these functions, doesn't develop properly. They are totally normal kittens except they wobble! Hennies mobility is definitely affected, and she doesnt really walk but kind of crawls and flip flops to get to where shes going. She very dramatically flings herself down for food (her second favorite time of day), but she always perks up for a catnip toy. She loves to wrestle with her siblings and doesnt hold back! Hennie uses a litter box with a low lip to make it easier for her to get in and out, but as long as she can get in, she uses a box consistently. Hennie would love to be adopted with her favorite wrestling partner, brother Sparks!

Demeter is a quiet, thoughtful soul with a heart full of potential. She's shy at first but blossoms once she feels safe. Get to know her, and she'll reward you with sweet swirls around your feet and gentle headbutts. Wand toys are her favorite, and she's learning every day that human hands are kind. Demeter would thrive in a calm, cat-experienced home where her gentle nature is cherished, whether that be with other cats or as your only furry friend!

Im a young retired momma that loves to play. I have raise four kittens and I was an amazing mom. Im ready to be out on my own now and I look forward to having fun at my forever home.Ive havent been around dogs or kids but I could be open to try and make new friends. Im a sweet and loving girl and I love to play.

Sweet one year old Leela was tossed out behind a medical building. It didn't take her long to find trouble or for trouble to find her and sadly she lost an eye. But she is recovering and told us it may have been worth the trade-off to now be enjoying an inside home with regular meals. Leela's favorite thing is bed cuddles. She will also give you no privacy as she follows you around begging for pets, even in the bathroom.

Sweet Flo is back at FFF and looking for her second chance at furever through no fault of her own. This gentle girl has a heart of gold but can be quite shy, and needs a calm, patient person who can help her feel safe and loved again. Flo has lived with children before, but due to the fact that she gets overwhelmed easily, a home with older or quieter kids would be best. She has lived with other cats and we think having another friendly, mellow feline companion may be just what she needs to come out of her shell. Though she spends much of her time hiding in her foster home, Flo is the perfect houseguest she is non-destructive, tidy in the litter box, and happiest curled up in a cozy nap spot. Genesis is a stunning 1-year-old spayed female with striking black-and-white markings and bright green eyes — she even has a little black heart 🖤 on her right hip! This sweet, vocal girl loves attention and enjoys being close to her people. She’s playful and affectionate, often rolling over for belly rubs, but can be a bit shy in a crowd of other cats. Genesis would likely do best in a calm home without small children and perhaps one or two friendly feline companions. She hasn’t been tested with dogs yet. Hi, I’m Munchkin. I used to be called Velvet, but I got this name because I’m just a little guy. Even though I’m a year-old brown tabby, I am only about 11 pounds. However, I do have a big personality, and I love to leap high into the air to catch a string toy. Boy, that’s my favorite activity. My foster mom has taken lots of videos of me chasing those toys. Most of the time my foster mom can find me sitting by one and begging with my eyes for her to 'make it move”! The treat game is another of my favorite activities. See, we have a puzzle that my foster family uses and she puts treats in them. Then I have to figure out how to get them out. I do love treats. OOOH and that push-pop-licky thing - I think she calls it a Churu… wow those are awesome! Like, I’ll do anything for one of those. I am a bit nervous around strangers, and dogs really scare me. I’d love a forever family that is older and quiet. I don’t remember what happened to me or how I ended up in the shelter (I was really young), but,  it must have been a little traumatic- all I remember is my foster mom picking me out of all the others. She said she saw something special in me. I’ve been with her for about 9 months, and I’d really love to find a forever family. I think I could be a wonderful emotional support animal. I will make a strong bond to one person and they will be my forever person. I will head butt them and rub on their legs while they are cooking dinner.
