Jolene Jolene is a gorgeous calico girl with plenty of personality—and she has two very important loves in life: treats and toys! If you're looking for a way to win Jolene's heart, we have a pretty good idea where to start. She absolutely loves treats and will happily accept them as payment for just about anything! Jolene is also a total purr machine. Since coming into her foster home, she's really blossomed into her personality and is no longer the shy girl she once was. These days, she loves attention, has become a wonderful lap cat, and is perfectly content curling up with her foster mom. At night, one of her favorite places to be is right beside her foster mom, sleeping the night away. ❤️ Don't let all that sweetness fool you, though—Jolene still has a wonderfully playful side! She loves playing with the other foster cats in her home and can get downright wild when toys are involved. She especially enjoys chasing and catching toys and showing off her impressive acrobatic skills. She brings plenty of fun and entertainment wherever she goes! Born around June 25, 2026, Jolene has grown into a beautiful, affectionate young cat who enjoys both playtime and cuddle time. She would love a forever home where she can have plenty of attention, opportunities to play, and, of course, a comfortable lap to call her own. If you're looking for a beautiful calico with a big personality, a loud purr, a playful spirit, and a serious appreciation for lap time and treats, Jolene might just be your girl. She is spayed, up to date on shots and ready to go. Jolene is ready to trade her foster home for a forever home—and she's bringing her toys, her purrs, and her love of treats with her! Meet Clawdia! This sweet girl was once roaming a neighborhood, getting food wherever she could find a kind person willing to share. While the original plan was to TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) her, it quickly became apparent that she was far too gentle for street life and belonged in the safety of an indoor home. After her visits to a kind neighbor became a regular routine, he was able to safely trap her and bring her inside. Clawdia has transitioned beautifully and is now all about receiving pets and affection. She absolutely loves soft things, using them daily to perfect her expert biscuit-making skills, and she cannot wait to find a forever family to pamper her.

Sigourney may initially present as a touch shy and reserved, but do not be deceived; she is brimming with spice and sass! This little enchantress adores affection, yet she may mischievously nibble on your toes if given the chance! Her has a love for the ball track toy, and she revels in coaxing her foster siblings into playful antics with her!

Sweet Damita Jo was found abandoned at a dam, left all alone in a strange place. Regular visitors quickly noticed the new face and felt a deep sadness for her; she was so visibly confused, wandering around and looking anxiously for anyone who might offer her a meal and some kindness. Underneath that initial heartbreak is an absolutely beautiful cat. Damita Jo is a stunning calico with striking, soulful green eyes that will melt your heart. Once she feels safe, her true personality shines-she absolutely adores soft blankets, where she will happily show off her expert biscuit-making skills. She is ready to find a forever home where she will never be left behind again.

Introducing Grey Mama. She is young. She is gentle. She is friendly. And she is pregnant for the second time in 2026. Grey Mama has never had a home. BUT THAT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE. ❤️ Grey Mama has spent her life as a community cat, struggling to survive outdoors while raising kittens. She had never been inside a house. Never ridden in a car. Never been to a veterinary clinic. Never been surrounded by strangers. But when her caretaker needed to get her to the vet, Grey Mama allowed herself to be picked up and carried into a completely unfamiliar world. And she won the hearts of the veterinary staff with her gentle, trusting nature. Now, her life is going to change. Grey Mama is part of AC ARF's Targeted TNR at Patterson Lane: A Community Colony Initiative. Our rescue and veterinary partner will see her through this pregnancy, delivery, and the raising of her kittens. When her babies are old enough, they will all be sterilized and vaccinated. Grey Mama will be spayed, so she will never have to go through another pregnancy. And then AC ARF will work to find inside homes for Grey Mama and her kittens - homes where they can be safe, loved, and finally have the chance to thrive. For a cat who has spent her young life surviving, this is the beginning of something wonderful. No more litters. No more struggling to survive. No more wondering where her next meal will come from. Just a warm bed. A safe place. Someone to love her. And, hopefully, a family to call her own. We don't have a good picture of Grey Mama yet, but we will soon! As her journey unfolds, we'll be sharing photos and updates so you can get to know this sweet girl and watch her story change, one step at a time. For more information on Grey Mama, email us at ACARF2018@gmail.com. And follow AC ARF on Facebook to follow Grey Mama's journey with us. We'll be sharing her story as she becomes a mama one last time, raises her babies, and takes her first steps toward the life she should have had all along. Her story is just beginning. ❤️

Mama Lacy will soon be available for adoption. Here is her story: Lacy was a free roaming cat in a rural area where a community member was caring for many abandoned & discarded cats and kittens, providing them with food, water, outside shelter and trying to get them all fixed. But she saw Lacy was pregnant and had just given birth to four and that this was probably her third litter. Her caregiver loved her, had named her and knew she and her kittens deserved a better life. So she reached out to Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation (AC ARF) for help to keep Mama Lacy and her kittens safe, healthy and happy. On December 27 when the kittens were only 2 days old, AC ARF arranged for Lacy to go with her four babies to our partner foster, Embry Kitty foster. Their Foster Momma told us that Lacy has proven to be an excellent kitten mama, nursing them and keeping her babies clean and safe, and moving them when she felt they were ready. From a cat carrier to a raised hidey box, then to a kiddie pool (where Lacy could jump out and take a break), and finally more freedom to explore and play in kitty room! Mama Lacy and kittens are still with their Foster Momma warm, safe and warm. As soon as they are ready, they will all be vetted and neutered through AC ARF and, once healed, adoptable through Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation. Please let AC ARF know if you might be interested in meeting/adopting Lacy.
