Lola was abandoned in a trailer park when her previous owners moved away, leaving her to fend for herself. Alone and pregnant, she hid underneath their vacant trailer for safety. Despite her fear, she would often follow the neighborhood children around the park, looking for comfort.Lola soon gave birth to three beautiful kittens. Thankfully, a kind neighbor climbed under the trailer to rescue the whole family.Now, all of Lola's kittens have been adopted, and it is finally her turn! Lola is a gorgeous dilute tortie who loves to cuddle. Her absolute favorite spot is perched on a shoulder, snuggling right into your neck. She is ready for a fresh start and a forever home.

At 12 years young, Marilyn Monroe is living proof that love, joy, and sweetness dont fade with agethey just get stronger. Uniqua is an absolute doll! Shes very friendly and wants hands all over her, but she wont sit still for photos or snuggles. Her foster momma has been trying to give her lap cat lessons but shes slow to catch on. Uniqua comes running as soon as she walks in the door and swishes back and forth while she pets all over her. Shes very much like a kitten in the way she plays and how she doesnt stay still unless shes asleep!

Goldies story is one of resilience, patience, and learning that maybejust maybepeople arent so bad after all.Trapped alongside her kittens, Goldie didnt choose to leave the only life she knew. Change was scary, and shes taken her time adjusting to it. Shes still a shy girl who prefers the comfort of a cozy hiding spot, watching the world from a safe distance. But bring out some food, and suddenly Goldie remembers that curiosity (and snacks) can be pretty powerful motivators.Underneath that cautious exterior is a gentle soul with the softest fur youve ever feltseriously, its kind of her thing. Scarlett is a beautiful, playful girl who’s young and full of personality. She loves anything shiny and could chase a laser pointer for as long as you’re willing! Along with being playful, Scarlett is incredibly sweet, loving, and cuddly. She really enjoys attention and will happily soak up all the love you give her. She’s the kind of cat who wants to be around her person and be part of your daily life. Scarlett has done well around other cats and is friendly with people. She hasn’t been around dogs or kids yet, but she has a gentle and kind nature from what we’ve seen. She is not currently spayed. We found Scarlett and truly wanted to keep her, but we already have several other pets and can’t give her the time and attention she deserves. She would do best in a home where she can get lots of love, playtime, and one-on-one attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate companion, Scarlett could be the perfect addition!

Mama Lacy will soon be available for adoption. Here is her story: Lacy was a free roaming cat in a rural area where a community member was caring for many abandoned & discarded cats and kittens, providing them with food, water, outside shelter and trying to get them all fixed. But she saw Lacy was pregnant and had just given birth to four and that this was probably her third litter. Her caregiver loved her, had named her and knew she and her kittens deserved a better life. So she reached out to Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation (AC ARF) for help to keep Mama Lacy and her kittens safe, healthy and happy. On December 27 when the kittens were only 2 days old, AC ARF arranged for Lacy to go with her four babies to our partner foster, Embry Kitty foster. Their Foster Momma told us that Lacy has proven to be an excellent kitten mama, nursing them and keeping her babies clean and safe, and moving them when she felt they were ready. From a cat carrier to a raised hidey box, then to a kiddie pool (where Lacy could jump out and take a break), and finally more freedom to explore and play in kitty room! Mama Lacy and kittens are still with their Foster Momma warm, safe and warm. As soon as they are ready, they will all be vetted and neutered through AC ARF and, once healed, adoptable through Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation.
