Rori will immediately capture you with her eyes. Yes she has the hair most of us dream of. She has been through a lot lately but still has the most kind and lovable personality. She will be a purfect addition to any family, especially if you have tons of time for attention, she will take it all.

Eight-week-old kittens Zora and Dora are the two surviving sweethearts of a recent TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) rescue. Found huddled together on a bucket lid, their chances of surviving outside while covered in fleas and suffering from parasites were not good. Thankfully, we rescued them just in time. With proper care and lots of love, they have transformed into the sweetest girls. They are now incredibly playful and constantly want to snuggle with their foster parent.

Meet Circe, a beautiful tortie girl who lives up to her mysterious name! She'll charm her way around your legs with loving rubs, but she's still learning to fully trust. With a little patience, this gentle girl is sure to blossom into your best friend.

Mama Lacy will soon be available for adoption. Here is her story: Lacy was a free roaming cat in a rural area where a community member was caring for many abandoned & discarded cats and kittens, providing them with food, water, outside shelter and trying to get them all fixed. But she saw Lacy was pregnant and had just given birth to four and that this was probably her third litter. Her caregiver loved her, had named her and knew she and her kittens deserved a better life. So she reached out to Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation (AC ARF) for help to keep Mama Lacy and her kittens safe, healthy and happy. On December 27 when the kittens were only 2 days old, AC ARF arranged for Lacy to go with her four babies to our partner foster, Embry Kitty foster. Their Foster Momma told us that Lacy has proven to be an excellent kitten mama, nursing them and keeping her babies clean and safe, and moving them when she felt they were ready. From a cat carrier to a raised hidey box, then to a kiddie pool (where Lacy could jump out and take a break), and finally more freedom to explore and play in kitty room! Mama Lacy and kittens are still with their Foster Momma warm, safe and warm. As soon as they are ready, they will all be vetted and neutered through AC ARF and, once healed, adoptable through Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation.
