Story
This beautiful girl has a personality that shines just as bright. She is a lap kitty in the making. She loves to snuggle up, and adores any and all interaction with all the people she meets. Comet still enjoys playing and snuggling with her siblings and would probably love to have a feline friend in her new home. She adores people of all ages and before she goes to her new home she will have opportunities to interact with dogs, adult cats, and children making her a very well rounded girl. Comet is already using the litter pan and will be spayed, up to date on preventatives and vaccinations at the time of adoption. To see more photos and videos you can check out the fosters TikTok page, Daisysfosterfriends.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.     I'm a beautiful, calico tabby, sweet and spicy! I'm very playful (with you and other kitties), curious and smart. I get along with dogs that are ok with cats. Story
Three years ago Belinda was abandoned by her owners and was hanging out with a colony of cats nearby. When the weather began to get too cold to suit her, she decided to take a bolder approach returning to the house next door to her old house and began body slamming the door. Belinda is not a small cat, so she was allowed in by the lady of the house, who promptly called SAFCC, as the lady was in the middle of a move. Belinda was soon adopted by one who loved her and spoiled her for 3 years. Sadly, the lady’s health has made it impossible to keep her any longer. Tests when we first took her in back in 2020 showed her FIV +. She is well and doing fine. FIV is only transmittable by DEEP bite wounds, and only to other cats. Sharing litter, food, water, beds, and grooming each other is not an issue. Nothing about Belinda’s life before abandonment is known. She does have a scar just above her back foot, indicating she was caught in a snare or steel-jaw trap. This about 6 year young lady has proven to be an attention seeking talker that entertains herself playing by herself and watching the world go by sitting on the window sill. Belinda excels in helping you hold the bed down through the night.Apply online: tinyurl.com/ccapadoptionsEmail ? to susanschmahlenberger@msn.com All fosters under the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition: Community Cat Adoption Program are fostered privately through foster homes.  They are spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped before adoptions are finalized.  SAFCC is a 501c3 non profit, all volunteer organization serving San Antonio and Bexar County, Texas. Story
Meet Emma Pearl! Emma is about 1 year old and was found starving and abused in a busy restaurant parking lot. There was a group of young teens that were kicking her around trying to get her to leave the premises. The restaurant owner said that she had been there for a couple of weeks begging and searching for food. A good Samaritan took her in because she couldn't let her continue to be abused. The kitty was nervous at first but quickly warmed up.Emma has a strong personality. She is very playful and affectionate. She is constantly poking at the other cats (she has 3 older cats in her foster home) even if she knows she's going to receive a grumpy reaction back. She is curious, a little feisty, and playful. She wants to be with nonstop company. It's almost like she has magical powers. Even if she's nowhere in sight, she can be at any place by your side within seconds. She wants to be with you so much so, that when she sees us leaving the house, she runs to the car and tries to get in with us! She is full of love and craves affection and attention. Because of her life on the streets, she can be found searching for food often. Do not, we repeat, do not leave food unattended. She will help herself. From her abuse, she is also dealing with trust issues on occasion. She can be snappy if she is petted in the wrong spot, so please be patient with her. To everyone’s surprise, Ms Pearl was pregnan! She was so thin at the time, no one could tell. She had her kittens within 4 weeks of her rescue. She delivered the kittens like a champ and was a great momma to her babies. The funny picture of her sitting on the couch was taken two days before she delivered. All of her babies have been adopted and now it’s time for Emma Pearl to get her own forever home!Emma Pearl has lots of love to give and is a terrific cat. Apply today to meet Emma Pearl in her foster home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
