She is a fabulous cat. We adopted her from pet smart and she was 4 months then. 8-2015 At the beginning she was an inside pet and then we had to move her outside. Over the years my kids 2 out of 3 have developed allergies to cats. She was fine around a small poodle dog we had inside the house. But outside dogs she’s afraid of them. She is afraid of cats outside and she doesn’t protect her own area like her food. She won’t go into any outside housing because she watches for stray cats in the neighborhood. She needs someone who can bring her inside. When she was inside she did well with the litter box. We had another cat that would play with her but she’s gone. She loves people who will play and pet her. She is so friendly and loving. She would lay on your chest and purr or sleep if you were. She is a great cat. She would probably need updated shots. The last time we took her to a vet was 5-16-2017 for a medical check up with amoxicillin given for the fix.

Granite may have a possible chronic URI, so she does best in a calm, low-stress environment where she can feel safe and comfortable. She’s done wonderfully with other cats and was happily housed with a kitty companion for a few weeks, now that they’ve been adopted, it’s Granite’s turn to find her forever home. This gentle girl would thrive with a family who understands her need for a peaceful space and is excited to give her the love and reassurance she deserves. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion who just needs a little time to settle in, Granite is ready to curl up with you and make herself at home. 🤍
