Leander is a one-eyed gentleman with maximum snuggle energy. He adores people and has yet to meet a lap he didn’t want to climb into. Whether you’re working on your computer, watching TV, or trying (and failing) to get out of bed in the morning, Leander wants to be right there with you. Fair warning: his snuggles make it very hard to leave the couch. Despite missing one eye, Leander gets around just fine and lives a full, happy life. Because of his limited vision, he can occasionally be startled if approached from his blind side, so gentle movements and clear signals help him feel secure. Leander would do best in a home that appreciates a loving, physically affectionate cat and understands that communication and boundaries are part of a healthy relationship. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a couch companion, and a cat who truly loves his people, Leander is ready to steal your heart (and your lap)!
