Story
I acquired Mimosa from the Portsmouth Humane Society. She is 2 years old now, her birthday was on 1/21/24. She is playful, curious, energetic but can also be laid back and relaxed. She is also very vocal and affectionate. Things I would want for her are pretty simple. A safe, indoor-only home Fresh food and water provided daily A clean litter box and proper hygiene Regular veterinary care and up-to-date vaccinations A calm, loving environment with patience and gentle handling Daily attention, playtime, and opportunities to bond Scratching posts, toys, and enrichment A cozy, quiet space to rest and feel secure A long-term commitment to care and well-being I just want her to have the best home.

Story
Philomenia loves humans and will shower you with affection. She loves to wind in and out of your legs..  Philomenia also enjoys having a human companion to watch her eat (it's a perfect meal mate date, but you have to cover the bill).  She loves to play with toys and will sit beside you for a short time—just make sure not to rub her flanks. Like most cats, she loves treats, and she enjoys sitting on the back of the sofa gazing out the window.  This is the purrfect spot to watch the birds.  You'll often find her waiting patiently outside the bathroom door, respecting your privacy.  Philomenia definitely values her 'me time,' so she would thrive best in a home as the only pet.  This beautiful lady is ready for her forever home.  We hope it will be with you.  To be consisdered for her forever family please contact Critter Cavalry at crittercavalry@comcast.net or text 615-943-7311.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.    December 20, 2025, 12:12 am

Story
Neytiri is a stunning young calico whose beauty runs far deeper than her brilliant patchwork coat. Weighing just 7 pounds, she carries herself with the grace of a feline queen and the quiet wisdom of an old soul. Her gentle nature has a way of soothing those around her—be they human or fellow feline. Recently, Neytiri stepped into motherhood for the very first time, embracing it with extraordinary love and grace. She’s been a fiercely attentive mama: calm, nurturing, and endlessly patient. Watching her care for her kittens is a moving testament to the strength and tenderness that defines her. But motherhood hasn’t dulled her playful spirit. Neytiri still delights in the simple joys of life—chasing after a ribbon, curling up in a sunbeam, or gently nudging her favorite toy across the floor. She’s affectionate without being demanding, wise yet curious, and always quietly attuned to the world around her.   Whether she’s snuggled beside you or softly purring from across the room, Neytiri has a way of bringing peace, comfort, and a little extra magic wherever she goes. She’s not just a cat—she’s a companion, a nurturer, and a soulful presence ready to make a house feel like home. ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 2, 2025, 12:55 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Woodsie, a petite 3-year-old "feral to family" girl! I was found outside with my kittens, and even though I was feral, the lady who fostered us couldn't bear to send me back out, because there was no caregiver for me outside. So, she kept me with her, and over time, I blossomed into a very friendly, happy little girl! I get along great with other cats, as long as they are kind to me and don't bully me. I will not do well in a home with cats who are very dominant or aggressive toward me. With friendly kitties, I make friends quickly and get very attached and can often be found walking around "holding tails" and trading head boops with some of my closest feline friends. I have lived in a home with a dog, but as far as I know I haven't been around kids. I think I'd be okay with kids as long as they're calm and gentle with me, and respect my boundaries. I like all food, wet and dry, and I'm a big fan of Churu (who isn't right???) So far, I haven't shown a lot of interest in toys, but maybe we can check out some different toys together and find something that interests me! My favorite thing to do is lounge by a window; I really like fluffy cat beds, as well as cat trees to stretch out on for a long nap. I'm a very affectionate girl and will happily approach for pets (and treats!) I'm not sure yet if I'm a big fan of being picked up and held. One of my cutest attributes is my adorable little overbite! It makes me look sweetly goofy and it just matches my happy, laid-back nature. I'm really looking forward to finding a forever family to love for the rest of my life. Will you come meet me? Who knows, we may end up besties! Story
🐾 Meet Butterbean 🐾 Gender: Female Spay Status: Scheduled for Feb 23 Bonded Pair: YES — with Brownie 🤎 (They must go together!) 🎨 The Look Butterbean is a gorgeous calico mix of white, brown, gray, and black — basically she looks like she was painted with all the best colors 🎨✨ Petite? Yes. Delicate? Absolutely not. This girl is tiny but mighty. 💖 Personality If happiness had a sound… it would be Butterbean’s purr. She purrs loudly and proudly like it’s her full-time job. She is the perfect combo of zoomies + snuggles. One minute she’s exploring like a brave little explorer, the next she’s curled in your lap, cuddling her siblings and melting into you. 🎾 Favorite Things Small balls she can proudly carry around like trophies Wand toys (toys on a stick = BEST DAY EVER) Pop-up cube hideouts Iams kitten wet & dry food Laps. Warm laps. Your lap specifically. 🐶 Friends & Family Gets along with a Yorkie 🐕 Confident around older cats (even if they’re grumpy about kitten energy 😅) Has been around a teen; young kids unknown 🚫 Not a Fan Of The vacuum. The enemy. The loud floor monster. 🏡 Her Story Butterbean and her siblings were found in the fall, tucked into a little dirt burrow they had made to stay safe. They were dirty… but unbelievably friendly. The kind of friendly that instantly steals your heart. There wasn’t even a discussion — fostering them was a done deal the moment they looked up at us 🥹 💬 Why You’ll Love Her Don’t let her tiny size fool you — Butterbean is packed with energy, love, and personality. She’s the type of kitten who will play hard, love harder, and then fall asleep purring in your lap like you are her whole world. And remember — she comes with her built-in best friend Brownie 🤎 Double the love, double the entertainment, double the snuggles. Butterbean isn’t just a kitten — she’s a little adventure buddy with a motor that never quits 💕

Story
Meet Eudora! This gorgeous purr box is finally ready for a home! Coming from a background of surviving outside for over a year, having a litter of kittens that was hard on her and them, Miss Eudora has come through and taken to house cat life beautifully! This princess is shy but chatty and will talk to you quite a bit if she likes you and has warmed up to you! She absolutely LOVES scratches and rubs and can tolerate being picked up for a bit before signaling she's ready to get down. She recently started getting comfortable approaching people on furniture for pets, so she may yet become a lap queen! But never forget, she's proper royalty that loves being pampered. Eudora greets all her favorite subjects by rubbing on legs and talking to you and purring so loud it'll be the only thing you can hear. She also makes sure her subjects are safe during all dangerous activities such as using the bathroom or opening sharp cans of food. But a princess can't be all work and no play and Eudora has been quite fond of playing with the other cats and kittens. She also loves a good box with some crinkly paper and little mice and she enjoys good catnip from time to time for a spot of relaxation. She’s still really nervous around dogs although we suspect if they are small more calm dog she will do better than with a big one. She's still getting used to playing and she’s bound to open up more for the right family! This girl will need some adjustment time but has been taking meds well when she needs to, and she has never lashed out even when she's scared. She's a hider and prefers a quiet space to retreat to. She's also food motivated! She loves it all! She prefers to take treats from a bowl instead of the package or a hand. Again, she's a proper lady! If you love and treat her right, she’ll be your little greeter when you come home from work. (Note for going to the vet: because she’s timid, she will need to be approached more slowly and deliberately or may have a fear response - take your time and she’ll be an absolute angel!) Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯
