Aries is a 5-year-old neutered, house-trained cat who loves laying next to you and enjoying gentle petting (especially chest and neck scratches). He can be a little skittish at first but warms up once he feels safe. He gets along with other cats and dogs. He does not enjoy being touched near his tail. He can be playful and sometimes nibbles on ankles and feet, so he would do best with someone patient who understands cat behavior and can gently redirect him. We are looking for a loving, stable home where he can feel secure and relaxed.

Our cat is the sweetest. Would make a great pet for someone.

An old friend of ours asked us to watch her then decided they didnt want her anymore. We would love to keep her but our other cats bully her. She's very sweet and enjoys being around people she's comfortable with. Not very talkative unless its feeding time then she'll make sure you don't forget her! Loves to chase laser pointers or a fly if they get in the house, but very calm/ lazy most of the time. We have never had her turn her nose up to any kind of cat food and she will also come with her automatic feeder. She is good with other calm animals but does not like to rough house with others. She is not a fighter in any sense of the word and runs from the sound of plastic bags. She has a bad hip from an old injury so her jumps are short. She has never been on our conter because of this. Will love to be around you once she warms up.

I adopted Chloe when she was 3 months old from Suffolk Humane Society in 2018. She is such a sweet sociable cat that people who come to visit us always adore and are shocked by how friendly she is. She is now 8 years old (her estimated birthday is April 24, 2018). Unfortunately as my home/family has now grown since I adopted her, Chloe has not been able to adjust to her new surroundings as I hoped. My hope for her is to go to a home where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves and hopefully be with someone where their home is not as overwhelming as mine has been for her. She adores my now 13 year old (we got her when he was 5) but she has not gone near my youngest who’s now 3 - so that’s why I put unknown for kids. She lost some teeth and has a heart murmur now that she’s gotten older, but otherwise has been very healthy. She is an indoor cat. She loves to be pet but does not like pats, and she never intentionally tries to hurt and will warn usually before doing so.

He is a very good cat. He is very loving. He gets along with all my other male cats but my older male cats doesn't like Stripe for some reason and I do not have enough room to keep them separate. He loves the Temptations Seafood Melody dry cat food. He loves his head rubs. He likes being carried around the house as long as you stretch him out belly down and rub his belly. He is funny like that. He loves to run. His favorite spot to sleep is in his tower by the window. His favorite toys are plastic spoons, small cloth animals/toys, paper bags, and his ball track. He does NOT like anything beef flavored, any kind of wet food, or being around a lot of people at once. He is TERRIFIED of storms or any loud noises. Does not like yelling at all he totally freaks out. However, he likes TV. We leave cooking shows on for them while at work. He has never been outside.

Hi, my name is Naya (or as my foster mom nicknamed me, Naya Papaya). I’m a very petite grey beauty with unique patterns in my fur. If you look closely I even have a little “racing stripe” on my back!One of BtKR’s awesome adopters noticed I kept coming around to her patio and started feeding me; she called my foster mom for advice, and it was decided that they would trap me for TNR (Trap Neuter Release). I was scared at first, but from the start I was also very vocal, and would come to the front of my kennel when I saw people, so it was clear that I really wanted to connect underneath my fear. It’s likely I was outside for awhile and went through having multiple litters of kittens alone out there; my fosters suspect some people might have hurt me, because I still flinch at times when hands come near me. Once I feel safe, I’m an extremely affectionate little girl! I like to come to you. When my foster mom sits down, I’ll slooowly sidle over to her for pets. I like pretty firm scritches, and if she doesn’t pet me hard enough I will let her know by smooshing my head into her hand hard! I’m a big fan of neck, ear and booty scritches and I get a very intense look on my face when getting scritches…. I’m in the zone! Sometimes I get so excited when getting scritches that I give head butts to anything in sight, which gets a bit comical. I also drool a bit when I get really comfy and content. I’ve recently gotten comfortable with my foster mom picking me up briefly to set me on her lap. I don’t stay on her lap long, but I’m getting more comfortable with laps and sitting next to people on the sofa!I really like other friendly cats (with proper introductions, of course!) I don’t know if I’ve been around dogs before. Because I’m nervous, I do need a very calm and quiet home, without small children, and with predictable routines to help me feel secure. I will do best with adopters who are not away for very long periods of time; after my foster mom’s been gone for a few hours I need a refuel of pets and playtime for sure! I really like being around people, even if it’s just napping near them. I also need adopters who understand that I will need time with new people to come out of my shell, and who are willing to be patient and invest the time to build my trust. My foster mom wants you to know that I’m so worth it!I enjoy wet food, and my current obsession is Tiki Cat chicken mousse. I have a routine in the morning; after my foster mom puts my bowl down, I will eat a bit but then go find her, meowing, and lead her back to my bowl. That’s my way of saying, I need more pets before I can continue eating. Once my pet tank is refilled, I can move on with breakfast! I also love a good Churu treat. My favorite spot to hang out is on a little ottoman right by the window, where I can monitor the neighborhood activity. I’ve discovered the joy of toys, and I really like catnip mice, feather wands, felt spring toys, balls to chase, ball track toys, and play tunnels. Recently I “drowned” one of my catnip mice in my water bowl, and I felt pretty triumphant about it! If your heart is open to a shy girl who’s been through a lot, and you’re willing to put in the time to build a relationship with me, I will blossom in your home! I hope you’ll come and meet me!
