She navigates slowly and carefully, relying on consistency and her other senses to understand the world around her. Once she knows where she is, she settles in beautifully.Most importantly, Edith is incredibly sweet. She enjoys soft pets, warm blankets, and quiet companionship. Iris settles in quickly and makes herself right at home, but she does best in an environment that respects her boundaries.Because Iris is dominant and can become overstimulated or lash out when she feels uncomfortable, she needs a calm home without children or senior citizens. She is not the right fit for a busy, high-energy household—but for the right adopter who understands her personality and respects her independence, she can be a loyal and beautiful companion.Iris has been returned once due to behavioral challenges, so we are seeking a patient adopter with experience in cats who prefer to interact on their own terms.
