Story
Chloe is almost 6 years old. Her birthday is April 16, 2020. She came from a barn cat litter. She is friendly and likes to greet you at the door like a dog. She has a sassy play side to her but she also loves to curl up on your lap. She has been great with my 2 toddlers. We have one dog and they get along great and even play with each other. She would do great in a home that will give her the love and attention she deserves while still being able to curl up somewhere cozy for a long nap.

Story
Meet Queenie: Your Future Professional Best FriendShe’s gray, she’s graceful, and she’s ready to be the center of your world.Queenie is 8 years old, which means she’s mastered the art of the perfect nap. She doesn’t need much—just a sunny window, a soft chin scratch, and a human who appreciates a quiet companion. Queenie is currently living the good life in a foster home, but she’s officially ready to find her permanent throne.Queenie is the ultimate `low-maintenance` roommate. She’s past the kitten chaos and prefers the finer things in life: a soft sunbeam, a plush bed, and your undivided attention. She’s a listener, a professional napper, and a loyal friend who will always be waiting for you at the door.Queenie was recently diagnosed with renal disease. While that sounds like a big term, it really just means she’s a special girl with a special menu! To keep her feeling her best and her kidneys happy, she needs to stay on a prescription renal diet for life. She thinks the food is delicious, and it’s a small price to pay for the years of love she has ready to give.Queenie has recently started seeking out affection on her own terms, proving that underneath her quiet exterior is a girl who truly wants to be loved. She’s even rediscovered her `inner kitten,` venturing out to chase toys and show off her playful side.Queenie is looking for a patient home that will celebrate every new `first` with her. She isn`t an `instant` lap cat, but she is proving every day that she is worth the wait.Queenie is spayed and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Queenie, feel free to reach out at (920) 733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or stop by during our open hours to take a look around!

Story
Sass: A Quiet Soul Ready to BloomSass is a 5-year-old brown and black tabby looking for a very special kind of hero. Found tucked away in a garage, Sass didn`t come to us with `cattitude`—she arrived completely shut down. For a long time, she protected herself by staying small and silent, but the `quiet magic` we hoped for is finally happening. We are thrilled to share that Sass is bravely coming out of her shell! This sweet girl has started purring and making biscuits, showing us just how much love she has tucked away. Every soft blink and relaxed stretch is a massive victory and seeing her find her confidence is incredibly rewarding. To continue this wonderful progress, Sass needs a calm, low-activity home where she can feel truly secure. Sass has previously lived with other cats and a small dog, so she may enjoy the company of a gentle resident pet.Because the world can still feel a bit overwhelming, she is looking for an adult-only home or one with older, calm children. There is a profound joy in being the person who shows a once-hidden cat that the world is a safe and loving place. If you have the patience to move at her pace, Sass is ready to start her new life with you.Sass is spayed, has received core vaccinations (Feline Distemper, Rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Sass or our adoption process, feel free to reach out to adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.

Story
If you’re looking for a companion who is out of this world, meet Barbarella. This 9-month-old beauty arrived as a stray, but she’s clearly decided that the `explorer` life is overrated compared to the comforts of a loving home.Barbarella is at that perfect `teenage` age—past the tiny kitten chaos, but still full of playful curiosity and a deep desire for connection.Barbarella came to us with an Upper Respiratory Infection (URI), but she hasn`t let a few sniffles stop her. She is currently on medication and has been an absolute champ about taking it—no fuss, no fights, just pure grace. She is already feeling much more like herself, but she’ll need a dedicated co-pilot to help her finish her mission to full health.Barbarella`s future family should establish a relationship with a veterinarian shortly after adoption. This will ensure she stays on the right track and completes her healing journey so she can get back to her main job: being adorable.Since Barbarella was a brave solo traveler on the streets, her past social life is a bit of a mystery! We aren`t quite sure yet how she feels about other cats, dogs, or kids.Don’t let the unknown stop you, though! Our adoption counselors are more than happy to walk you through the best ways to do slow, supervised introductions to ensure Barbarella and her new roommates (two-legged or four!) become the best of friends.Barbarella isn`t just a cat; she`s a tiny love machine. She has a way of looking at you that says, `Thank you for saving me.` Whether she’s chirping for a head scratch or curling up for a long nap, her goal in life is simple: to be loved and to love you right back.Barbarella is spayed, has received core vaccinations (Feline Distemper, Rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Barbarella or our adoption process, feel free to reach out to adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
