This condition is not contagious. * Seems to overgroom recently and more attention has been paid in brushing her and cleaning the home. Especially during the change of seasons, we take care of her moisturizing. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Dorothy was found roaming alone on the floor of Gimje Shelter by an Adogs volunteer. She was a new born puppy who had only just opened her eyes. Although her mother was found at the same shelter, the extreme heat prevented her from caring for Dorothy, leading to her urgent rescue. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy to strsngers and a little bit fearful but warms up quickly. Stares first at a distance, approaches to explore and acts charming. Follows her foster parent around, sitting or lying beside them. However, rests independently on weekends when her foster parent is at home most of time. * With Dogs: Approaches first dogs who are smaller than her! Growls and gets defensive toward bigger dogs, being scared of them. Is indifferent to familiar dogs. * With Cats: Coexisted peacefully with cats without any issues at our center. Stops, stares, and then tries to get closer to cats who she encounters during walks. Follows the instruction of her guardians, when they tug the leash into other direction her, but keeps staring, while wondering. * Separation Anxiety: Can stay alone without barking or showing anxiety. Even sleeps well on her own. * Potty Training: Uses potty pads very well indoors without mistakes! Doesn’t mark with her pee and prefers outdoor potty. * Hygiene: Is comfortable with brushing. Doesn’t like baths, the blow dryer, or nails trimming but tolerates and gets through it well. * Walks: Her energy levels are high at the beginning of walks and she pulls a bit. However, she calms down after pottying. Tends to pull on the leash when she wants to sniff the grass or sees familiar people or birds to chase them. Is in training for this and doing a great job. * Car Sickness: Starts to drool after the car starts moving and vomits during long distance trips. Therefore, it's good to take breaks in the middle for a walk. Has no issue with short distances. Enjoys watching outside. * Does not bite at all! Shows some possessiveness over food though. * Whines when there's a noise outside or she wants to get out of kennel. Barks briefly out of excitement when her foster parent comes home. * Really likes people so she acts cute and asks to be petted! Loves food and tends to eat in a hurry so she is being fed with a slow feeder. * Is scared of loud noises from buses, cars, or motorcycles. However, she is okay with other sounds like vacuum cleaners. Feels uncomfortable if strangers keep paying attention to her at home. * Learned commands such as "Sit down", "Lie down", "Wait", and "House"!

I get along beautifully with other dogs. I often look to my dog friends for comfort, follow their lead, and enjoy playing and cuddling with them once we’re close. Because of that, I’d do well in a home with another friendly dog — but I could also be perfectly happy as an only pet, soaking up all your love just for myself. I’m gentle with children, too. Sometimes, I can be a little wary of unfamiliar men, but I’m never aggressive — just cautious. I’m the kind of dog who startles easily but never hurts anyone. In calm environments, I relax and show my quiet, loving personality. I enjoy walks, though sometimes I get a little excited and might pull on the leash or get curious about interesting smells (especially if there’s a cat nearby 🐾). Big signs or large objects can make me a bit nervous, but I’m fine with cars and motorcycles. 💛 Hi, I’m Choco! I was rescued from a greenhouse where many dogs like me were being raised to be sold to dog farms. Life there was scary — I was often hurt by the person who owned the place, and I learned to be afraid of people and new things. But now, I’m learning that gentle hands and kind voices exist… and I really want to trust again. At first, I might seem shy or even a little nervous, especially around new people or unfamiliar places. But if you give me time and patience, you’ll see my true self — a soft-hearted, affectionate pup who loves to stay close and show love in quiet, tender ways. 🌿 Health: I’m in good health overall! I’m scheduled for a dental scaling soon. I used to have some tear allergies, but I’m much better now thanks to my special allergy-friendly food. I’m not a picky eater at all — I enjoy my meals! 🐶 Personality & Friends: I enjoy my own space, especially my bed and food, so I’d probably do best as the only dog in the family. But I can get along fine with another calm and gentle friend if we’re introduced slowly.
