Story
Baby is a sweet girl who was rescued from a hoarding house and requires Tiny for confidence and security. He helps her overcome a lot of fears she would have if she didn't stay with him :( She can be very shy and timid and will become fearful if you go too fast or push her into uncomfortable situations. It will take time for her to become comfortable in her new surroundings so her new owner must have patience and time for both her and Tiny. Baby does well with all dogs if properly introduced. She has played with smaller dogs tho it's not recommended due to her size and her rough play style. We're not sure how she is with cats or kids. Small children will need to be well supervised due to her size :) Baby is also very territorial - as well sensitive, loving and very affectionate. She loves to lay on the couch and be near her humans She will not do well with an assertive owner because of her background. She can be frightened easily but as long as she's with Tiny she will continue to improve and grow successfully. Baby can be man shy so patience with her is important. She lives with a man and his wife now and she does great with him now. She was scared at first but if you let her come to you she's a gem. She has had a hip issue so she's given supplements to improve her strength daily. Her adopter must also provide supplemental care for life unless it is decided for surgery. She does fine with supplements and multivitamins and can run and play with no issue. Baby will need more vet care and that will be the responsibility of her adopters once adopted. Her foster will give you as much information as she has for Baby's healthcare. She does require supplements to maintain her weight. We estimate her to be about 4-5 years old, she is utd on required vax and spayed She will need time to adjust to the chaotic sounds and things of the city because she's lived in the mountains where it's peaceful and quiet. Experience is required with proof of that experience. You must understand how this breed is to maintain a long lasting relationship.

Story
Meet Ella, a resilient Cane Corso mix seeking a new home after being surrendered due to her owner`s inability to handle her spirited nature. Ella will thrive as the only pet, requiring undivided attention in a secure environment with high fencing. No cats or small animals for sure, she has a high prey drive. Ella has gotten along with another large dog however we believe she is dog selective (likes some dogs but does not like others). If there are already dogs in the household a meet and greet is required. She does play a little bit, however someone too rowdy would overwhelm her-- she needs a dog who is content to simply share the home or plays soft and daintily. Potty trained (may need a refresher with an environment change, this is not a guarantee but what the owner told us) but physically strong, Ella needs an experienced owner familiar with the breed`s challenges, committed to training and providing structure. Her ideal match will recognize the nuances of Cane Corsos, guiding her to become a well-behaved and balanced companion. If you`re ready to invest time and effort into Ella`s training, you`ll discover a loyal and loving canine companion. No young or energetic kids-- 10 years and older would be best and everyone in the household will be required to meet Ella. Ella can be shy and may take multiple appointments to be confident enough to approach potential adopters--she is worth the effort and extremely loyal once she knows her family and feels safe.

Story
FAITH IS READY FOR ADOPTION Faith is a pure bred show quality Cane Corso. Faith is ready for her forever home. She is a big, thick powerful female. Non-barker, non destructive. Loves her crate but loves being out of her crate as well. Previous owner or breeder must have crate trained her because that’s her comfor zone. She is in monitored play groups here with large breed males and females but is indifferent to other dogs and her best placement would be as an only dog. If I were to place her in a home with another dog it would be a large breed male only and she was very tight and friendly a dog named Bo a 9 year old Neo before he passed a few weeks ago. She also loves a very sick 2 year old female Corso here at the rescue named Venus with a deadly fungal infection in her brain. Once Faith is comfortable in your home and yard you will be safe. She is a natural guardian and protector but it will take a few months for that to come out. Faith is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, current rabies and is microchipped. She has zero skin or health issues. Due to an overwhelming amount of inquires and in order for us to get back to you. Please tell us about your dog/breed experience, lifestyle, house/yard, area you live in, activity level, and all other dogs, cats, kids and other pets in the house. The more information the better. Emails without this information will be ignored. Adoption fee of $250 includes her spay, all current vaccines including rabies and her microchip. Health check and 5 page adoption agreement/contract apply. Serious inquires can be sent to: smashfacerescue911@yahoo.com
