Story
Meet Magnus. A 150 lb teddy bear with a huge heart that carries huge love for his family. Magnus is 3 years old and has been with us since he was 10 weeks old. He is a family dog and his best buddies (besides his human) is a Pomeranian and a frenchie! Magus is obedient trained, sit, lay down, wait, leave it, and walks on a leash with a perfect heel on your left side. He is crate trained and loves to be tucked in with belly rubs at bed time. He is used to a routine IE: eats at the same time every day, nap time and bed time. He truly is the perfect boy with the best manners because he was raised with love and proper discipline. He will require someone who knows how to handle a large dog and who knows how to be the leader. He needs a home owner with a yard, active lifestyle (walking) and preferably another large dog who will be his playmate would be nice but not necessary to adopt. Though he is used to small dogs, they can’t play with him in the way he deserves. Serious inquires only!

Story
#A5734997 Elliot is a 2-year-old, 111 lb neutered male Cane Corso/Labrador Retriever mix with a stunning brindle and black coat. Found as a stray on October 25, 2025, Elliot is a big, beautiful gentle giant who’s as kind as he is handsome. Though he can be a little timid at first, once he’s outside the kennel, his calm, affectionate personality shines through. He walks nicely on leash, is easy to handle, and shows signs of being housebroken. Elliot greets other dogs politely and does best with calm companions. He enjoys observing and engaging lightly but doesn’t push for play. With his medium energy level and easygoing nature, he’s the perfect mix of strength and sweetness. With continued socialization and confidence building, Elliot will make a loyal, loving companion for someone who appreciates a gentle, steady dog. -2 years old, neutered male, 111 lbs -Cane Corso/Labrador Retriever mix, brindle and black coat -Found as a stray on 10/25/2025 -Gentle giant with a calm, friendly temperament -Initially timid but warms up quickly -Medium energy level; enjoys relaxed outings -Walks well on leash and easy to redirect -Shows signs of housebreaking -Tolerant and non-reactive with dogs; calm dogs recommended -Beautiful, well-mannered boy ready for a loving home     ELLIOT’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/Yt9LoLplVVM For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org     ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
