With her impressive size and presence, Marie turns heads wherever she goes, but behind that powerful frame is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl.Marie absolutely adores people. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be close to her humans and soak up all the love and attention she can get. Despite her size, she has a gentle and loving personality that makes everyone fall for her pretty quickly.Marie also does well with dog friends and has enjoyed spending time around other dogs. Like many pups, she prefers to have her meals to herself, so she should simply be fed separately in a home with other dogs.Because of her size and strength, Marie can be strong on the leash right now, but with consistency, patience, and some training, she will continue to improve. She’s a smart girl and just needs someone willing to help guide her.Marie is a big dog with an even bigger heart, and she’s ready to find a home where she can be loved as much as she loves her people. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a commanding presence and a soft side, Marie might be the perfect match for you. 🐾Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Story
Max is a Cane Corso mix and will be 2 years old soon. He is a really good dog—he’s potty trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands. He is wonderful with our kids and gets along great with other dogs. His absolute favorite things are playing fetch, playing with any toys he can find, and going for walks. Once he’s had some time to run around the backyard, he is a big fan of a long nap. The only reason we are rehoming him is that he is reactive with our cat. We have tried everything possible to get them to get along, but he won’t leave the cat alone. Keeping them separated 24/7 has become too difficult to manage with children in the house, and it isn't fair to either animal. Max needs a home with no cats. He is a sweet, loyal boy who just needs a environment where he can be himself without the distraction of a cat. If you think you might be the right fit for him, please reach out.
