Story
Cora is a beautiful 3 yo female, blue Cane Corso. We saved her from a CA high kill shelter and transported her to ID. She was terrified in the shelter and had shut down and given up. Her only notes were that she was curled up in back of her kennel. When staff arrived she sniffed a bit, and began trembling. Then put her head back down. She did not engage further. Heart-breaking. Being fostered in Twin Falls ID. Update from foster states that Cora doesn't do well with anything that runs or moves really fast.

Story
Meet Flik — a playful pup in a big, lovable package with a heart just as large as his paws. 💛 Flik is truly just a big puppy at heart, bursting with energy and joy, but shelter life has been weighing on him. The stress of the kennel can be tough, so he’s found his own ways to cope — whether it’s nudging his food bowl around or happily entertaining himself with toys. Give him something to do, and he settles in just fine. The moment Flik steps out of his kennel, his excitement shines through. He’s so eager to explore the world that he tends to pull on the leash, so he’ll need someone patient who can help him get back to basics and learn good walking manners. But that enthusiasm? It’s all part of his charm. In the office, Flik lights up. He loves people, but toys are his absolute favorite. Toss one his way and you’ll see his playful spirit come alive — he could chase them forever! The second he hears a squeaker, his tail starts wagging nonstop, and he’ll break into the cutest little zoomies, bouncing around with pure happiness. Flik is still young and impressionable, which means he has so much potential. With a dedicated and experienced handler willing to put time into training, he’s sure to grow into an incredible companion. More than anything, Flik just needs a loving home — one that will give him the playtime, patience, and affection he’s been missing. If you’re ready to help this sweet, goofy boy thrive and give him the life he deserves, please reach out. Flik is waiting for his second chance. 🐾 Dog2Dog: Flik did okay in playgroups with mix and mingle females. He needs some who isn’t too crazy or high energy. He did best with a submissive mix and mingle female. Flik is sadly NO MALES. He comes out a little hot but with time mellows out.

Story
Meet Koda – A Gentle Giant with a Playful Side Koda is a handsome 2.5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing about 50 pounds, and he is the perfect combination of calm companion and playful best friend. With his gentle nature and easygoing personality, Koda brings a peaceful presence wherever he goes. One of Koda’s favorite activities is spending time with his people. He loves to snuggle, relax nearby, and simply be part of the family. He is fully potty trained, settles nicely into home life, and has wonderful house manners. Koda also walks beautifully on a leash, naturally matching your pace and making daily walks enjoyable and stress-free. While Koda enjoys quiet time, he also has a fun-loving side. He absolutely loves to play and would be thrilled to have another friendly dog in the home to wrestle, romp, and share adventures with. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having a canine companion to help bring out his playful spirit. Koda has also lived successfully with cats and has even been caught playing with their toys, proving just how easygoing and adaptable he can be. He does experience some carsickness on longer trips, but this is easily managed with Dramamine when needed. Because of his gentle and sensitive nature, Koda would thrive in a calm home without small children, where he can enjoy a predictable routine and plenty of companionship. As an Anatolian mix, Koda can be protective of his home and may resource guard his space with unfamiliar visitors. For this reason, he needs an adopter who understands guardian-breed traits and is willing to manage introductions appropriately and advocate for his success. Koda is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is being fostered in a home in Seguin, Texas. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who loves both snuggles and playtime, Koda may be the perfect addition to your family. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
