Story
Zima`s Compatibility:Dogs - Let`s meet!Cats - Not a good fitKids - Yes, 8+Zima arrived as a stray this spring, a little too thin, with a sore eye and nobody to call her own. Our medical team patched her up, thanks to our Survivor fund, and ever since, this big beautiful girl has been blooming right in front of us.Zima is a shy soul with a soft heart. New places and new faces make her a little unsure at first, but the people she trusts get the whole show. She leans in for pets, loves a cozy blanket, and will happily work on a chew while you relax nearby. She`s even a secret spa girl. Our volunteer groomer says she melted head to toe for her bath and blow-dry.There`s a reason for that watchful streak: Zima`s a Cane Corso through and through, a breed built for devotion. She bonds deeply with her inner circle and takes a thoughtful approach to everyone else. Corso lovers already know the deal -- earn her trust with slow introductions and a little patience, and she`ll give you her heart for keeps. She`s hoping for a calm home in a quieter setting rather than a busy apartment or a packed social calendar. The Zima you meet at hello is careful. The Zima underneath is a sweetheart waiting for a reason to relax. Come sit with her, let her make the first move, and see for yourself!

Story
Meet Goose! Goose is a two year old Cane Corso who is full of love. Goose is looking for a laid back home without a lot of people in and out of the house. He is sensitive to loud noises. He is shy with strangers and prefers the company of women. He is good with other dogs and cats. He loves to snuggle and is very playful. He loves his dog bed and his toys. His favorite snack is ice cubes.Goose needs an environment with consistency and calm. You'll see his goofy personality come to life. He is housetrained and rings a bell when he wants to go outside. He is crate trained, but does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. He is a very intelligent dog and learns very quickly. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations.Reach out for more information about Goose!

Story
Scarlett is a 1.5yr old and during the day she prefers to free roam and the worst she gets into is climbing on the couch for a nap. At home, she’s very calm, sleeping the majority of the day until it’s time for her walk. Occasionally she likes to play tug of war with her rope and she’ll do anything for some belly rubs. She also loves to go outside and it would be best that you have an enclosed yard so she can roam. Where she needs help is training for some behavioral issues and pulling on her leash. She is a big girl, so it will take a strong owner to keep her from chasing after squirrels and bunnies on a walk. She knows the general commands (sit, stay, shake), but will need training to get her to listen to you. Training is highly recommended. She has all of her vaccines and can come with all essential items (leash, bed, toys, bowls, herm sprenger collar, car seat cover, etc.) depending on the fee.

Story
He is good dog just needs space and room that I can’t provide for him. He is ok around kids but I would recommend no kids if possible. He gets along with other animals but he also isn’t had a great deal of time with other animals. He listens really good can walk without a leash but wouldn’t recommend it. Story
Devine has been steadily showing everyone more and more of her personality, and watching her confidence grow has been genuinely rewarding. Outside of the kennel she has shown herself to be a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys exploring, sniffing around, and spending time with people at her own pace. She has been easy to leash, enjoys getting outside, and has allowed handling and petting without issue. Volunteers have described her as wiggly, friendly, and excited to head out for walks and enrichment time. Shelter life has clearly been stressful for Devine at times, especially in the kennel environment, but she has made noticeable progress in a relatively short amount of time. Once she feels comfortable, her softer side comes through more and more. She seems like a dog who will thrive with patience, consistency, and a calmer home environment where she does not have to constantly process the noise and stimulation of shelter life. There is a thoughtful, sensitive dog underneath it all, and the people who take the time to earn her trust are already seeing how much potential she has to become a deeply loyal and loving companion. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter`s care.
