Story
Scarlett is a 1.5yr old and during the day she prefers to free roam and the worst she gets into is climbing on the couch for a nap. At home, she’s very calm, sleeping the majority of the day until it’s time for her walk. Occasionally she likes to play tug of war with her rope and she’ll do anything for some belly rubs. She also loves to go outside and it would be best that you have an enclosed yard so she can roam. Where she needs help is training for some behavioral issues and pulling on her leash. She is a big girl, so it will take a strong owner to keep her from chasing after squirrels and bunnies on a walk. She knows the general commands (sit, stay, shake), but will need training to get her to listen to you. Training is highly recommended. She has all of her vaccines and can come with all essential items (leash, bed, toys, bowls, herm sprenger collar, car seat cover, etc.) depending on the fee.

Story
He is good dog just needs space and room that I can’t provide for him. He is ok around kids but I would recommend no kids if possible. He gets along with other animals but he also isn’t had a great deal of time with other animals. He listens really good can walk without a leash but wouldn’t recommend it. If you have any other question please don’t hesitate to ask

Story
Harry is a big, lovable derpy dog who loves everyone he meets. Harry is about 85% potty trained and he’s 100% lapdog. He doesn't know how big he is, and wears his love on the outside. He is certainly a very happy dog if he has room to move. No fault of his own, Harry has been bounced around from home to home and did a couple tours of the city shelter when we stepped in and decided to give him a chance. Harry has had very little structure in his young life and he most likely missed the window of development when dogs learn to read other dogs. So, while he absolutely loves other dogs, he has no idea how to read body language. Because of this, Harry will need slow introductions and a tolerant dog friend to set him up for success when meeting other dogs. Harry has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where he gets to go most places with his people or his people are home a lot. Harry also has no idea that he’s an 95 lb dog with more weight to put on. Because of Harry's large size and inability to read personal space, he would do better with a stronger person of stature. Harry thinks he is still a puppy and can easily be unpredictable with his joy. He's basically a lovable-wrecking ball in dog form. Harry has the stubbornness of a mastiff. If he doesn't want to do something he either plays "catch the mastiff" or "dead mastiff." Both can be frustrating, but also funny if you like that kind of thing. Most of what Harry is trying to avoid is being alone. You absolutely will not find a dog with a bigger heart than Harry. But I’m not gonna lie, he is A LOT. He’s got some baggage from being bounced around. He needs structure, patience, and time. And, of course, lots of love. Are you Harry’s person? Fill out an adoption application on our website, Sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org and we will set up a time to talk about him! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy

Story
Moo is a gentle soul who seems to blossom when given a little patience and understanding. While new situations can make him feel uncertain at first, staff have discovered that underneath that shy exterior is a sweet dog who genuinely wants to connect. Once he realizes he is safe, he begins to relax, lean into affection, and show the softer side of his personality. Watching him go from cautious observer to a dog curled up in someone`s lap is the kind of transformation that makes hearts melt. The more time people spend with Moo, the more his confidence shines through. Staff have learned that he enjoys walks, loves exploring the world through his nose, and has a playful side that emerges when toys are involved. He especially appreciates people who let him set the pace and come to them when he is ready. With a little space and kindness, Moo has shown that he is affectionate, trusting, and eager to build relationships. His future adopter will have the privilege of watching that confidence continue to grow and gaining a loyal companion who is happiest when he feels understood and loved. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter`s care.
