Meet Kadoe; A Priceless Pup Looking for a Loving Home Kadoe has been with me since 8th grade when he was given to me as a gift, and he’s been my little best friend ever since. This is a very hard decision, but as life has gotten busier and finances tighter, Im not able to give him the time, attention, and care he truly deserves. There is no adoption fee because Kadoe is priceless to me. What matters most is finding him a home where he’ll be loved, cared for, and treated like family. I would love to stay in touch and maybe even see him from time to time if possible. Kadoe deserves the best, and I’m hoping to find someone who will give him the same love he’s always given me. Mouse is an adorable 2-year-old Cane Corso mix, born Nov 2023.  This sweet boy is house trained, crate trained AND leash trained.  He would love to go on regular walks.  Mouse is friendly with older children (age 6+) and strangers.   He needs a fenced yard with room to stretch his legs and he also knows some commands. Mouse is looking for a loving forever home where he gets lots of snuggles.  You'll get lots of kisses in return.  :) Mouse needs his own personal space for dining as he tends to think he needs to protect his food. The perfect home would be with someone that has experience with Cane Corso/Pit breeds (protective).  He has lived with another dog, but would probably do better in a home with no other dogs.  He tends to be protective of his people at times and he is so loving with his people.  Mouse might eventually be okay with another dog after he has a chance to adjust and continue his training. The suggested adoption donation for Mouse is $400, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.   Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we only assist the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue, and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs.
