Bella is everything you love about the breed. She is loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. She has a playful side and enjoys spending time outside, but she’s just as happy being close to you soaking up attention. She truly bonds with her humans and will be a wonderful companion. She does great with other dogs in her foster home and has been good with kids and cats. Bella is well-rounded and has a sweet, gentle nature, especially for a dog her size. Because of her breed and size, Bella will need an experienced, breed-knowledgeable owner who understands the needs of a Cane Corso and can provide structure, leadership, and love. To schedule a time to meet her, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- A lover through and through; enjoys people, toys, and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever's going on - Very easygoing and loves to follow her foster family around; they say she especially likes to help with gardening and has been known to steal their gardening gloves - Loves to play and can sometimes forget her mouth manners a little when she gets wound up, but her foster family said she does great if they have a toy handy to put in her mouth - Enjoys her Kong with peanut butter - Knows sit and is treat-motivated- Does best with a harness on walks - Has been fully potty trained in her foster home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine - Has been living with kids in her foster home and has done well with them and with other kids she has met - Has done well with other dogs and may enjoy a dog friend in her new home- Has been doing well with the cats in her foster home - wants to be friends and gives them space - Has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia (more info at ARL) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. That’s a whole lot of hungry puppies, so we had to split up into different foster homes to make sure everyone got all the love, bottles, and cuddles we needed. Because of that, some of us ended up with totally different names and personalities… but we’re still one big goofy family at heart! Now look at us! We’ve grown into happy, playful puppies that are always ready for an adventure. We love exploring the yard, carrying toys around like treasures, wrestling with other dogs, and zooming around until nap time hits. We are social, loving babies that get along great with other dogs and kids too. After a long day of puppy business, our favorite thing is snuggling up close for naps and bedtime cuddles.
