Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Piper, the smiley, squishy-faced lovebug who seems physically incapable of not being adored. From the second you meet her, she’s all in, leaning her whole body into you for hugs, nudging for booty rubs, and flashing that absolutely ridiculous underbite that makes her look permanently thrilled to be alive. She doesn’t need much time to warm up because honestly, she assumes you’re already best friends. Ear scratches? Yes please. Attention? More please. All of it? Definitely. We think Piper is a Cane Corso/ Boxer mix and she’s about 2 years young! And don’t be fooled, despite her Corso face, she’s on the smaller side! She is pure squishy faced perfection if you ask me! Watch her video here! https://youtu.be/D3Js06rzmco?si=YkZQpeeb0NwHhINa Piper is a total social butterfly with dogs and lives for a good romp. She’s playful, confident, and brings big “play play play!” energy to her doggy friendships. She loves to tumble, chase, zoom, and wrestle, and does best with dogs who enjoy rough-and-rowdy fun but also know how to take breaks so the party doesn’t go on forever. She’s been great with a variety of play styles, from goofy gals who love chase to more laid-back dudes who pop in and out of play, because Piper truly does not discriminate, if you’re a dog, she’s probably into you. She would absolutely love a yard for epic zoomie sessions, but apartment life isn’t out of the question as long as her people are active and excited to take her on walks, outings, and adventures. She’s smart, eager, and very trainable, even if she’s currently more interested in everything happening around her than showing off perfect leash skills. As for cats, Piper says that’s a no! She finds them way too interesting, so a cat-free home will be her happy place. With kids, Piper has the potential to be a wonderful family dog because she’s incredibly gentle, sweet, and people-loving, but she does have a habit of giving enthusiastic “hugs” when she’s excited. Because of that, we’ll definitely want to do a kid test before saying for sure, just to make sure everyone’s set up for success. Add in her affectionate nature, joyful personality, and cartoon-level cuteness, and you’ve got a dog who feels like pure happiness wrapped in a wiggly, tan body. Piper isn’t just a good girl, she’s a whole experience, and she’s ready to bring nonstop love, laughter, and zoomies to her forever home. 💕 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Hi! My name is Giada, and I'm 7 years young. I'm a smart, high drive girl with a big heart and excellent manners. I'm a great listener and already know lots of commands, including sit, down, paw, drop it, and come. I'm always ready for my next adventure and never say no to a game of fetch! Even though I'm a little older, I've still got plenty of puppy energy and would love an active family that can keep up with me. I'm a bit particular about my dog friends and tend to do best with calm, neutral male dogs. I also love going for walks, though strangers can make me a little nervous, and I may get reactive on leash. The good news? A tasty treat or a fun stick to chase goes a long way toward winning me over. I warm up quickly when we build a little trust. If you're looking for a loyal, playful companion who's ready to explore the world by your side, I just might be your perfect match!

Story
Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to rehome our 5yr old female Cane Corso (about 90lbs, shes little for a corso). She is spayed, house trained, and current on all vaccinations, as well as flea and tick prevention. She currently lives with other dogs, children, and a cat. She may growl at the cat from a distance, but she has not shown aggression toward it. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys curling up next to them to rest. She has a calm, affectionate personality and loves to cuddle with her people. She can be a bit skittish at times, particularly in unfamiliar situations, but she is generally very gentle. She does have hip issues, so she would do best with a family that understands her mobility needs and can provide appropriate care. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and our priority is finding her a safe, loving home

Story
🐾 Meet Ronix (Courtesy Post!) Breed: Presa Canario | Age: 8 years | Size: Large Traits: Protective, loyal, quiet, couch potato, loves car rides Ronix is an 8-year-old senior stud muffin looking for an experienced, understanding home to spend his golden years. He’s a quiet, laid-back guy who loves naps, attention from his people, and going for car rides. While he enjoys getting outside and exploring, he’s happiest relaxing close to the people he trusts. Ronix is a large, protective dog and will need an adopter experienced with strong breeds and dog-reactive behavior. He must be leashed in public and handled carefully around other dogs, as he can be triggered during walks. Because of this, and the fact that Ronix has not been around cats, we believe he would do best as the only pet in the home. Despite his protective nature, Ronix is a loving companion who simply wants stability, affection, and a family that understands him. He has never required crating and does best in a calm, structured environment. 🏡 Ideal Home: • Experienced large-breed owner • No other pets • Calm, predictable household • Secure handling and continued structure Ronix deserves a soft place to land and someone willing to love him for exactly who he is.
