Story
Caine is a very good boy, he’s good with older kids, and needs to be walked daily. Caine is very territorial so will not do well with other dogs in home, will thrive as the only dog in home. He is a cane corso so they demand time and energy, will be destructive if his exercise needs aren’t met. He needs someone who won’t mind being followed, he will become your best friend. Loves toys, stuffed animals, needs toys that will last. Serious inquirers only, he isn’t an apartment dog , needs space, preferably a big yard. giving him up isn’t an easy decision all he needs is a good home.

Story
Maverick is a 5 year old cane corso. I got him as a puppy and trained him myself as best as I could. He is still an energetic adult and likes to be outside exploring. He is really friendly and good with kids and other animals but needs to be watched because he doesn't know his own size. He is afraid of bikes/ skateboards/ and scooters. He can be tough to handle on a leash so definitely needs an experienced owner.

Story
Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Story
Victor has the cutest face and the biggest heart. He is a true lover boy who simply wants to be your best friend. When I met Victor, he greeted me with friendly enthusiasm, full of wiggles and eager for affection. He immediately sought out pets and attention, making it clear just how much he loves his people. Watch victors YouTube video now https://youtu.be/GneaeTAzFjI?si=Mhf3LQ1BwFRurtFt Victor is a four year old Cane Corso who does very well with other dogs. He recently met multiple dogs of different sizes and temperaments and handled each interaction beautifully. While he wasn’t interested in playing, he remained calm and friendly, preferring to stay close to his people. Victor would do well as the only dog in the home or with another dog. If placed with a canine companion, a more aloof, low-energy dog would likely be the best match. Due to his size and curiosity, Victor would not be a good fit for a home with cats, as he showed a bit too much interest. Victor did wonderfully meeting children, including a four and eight year old. He approached them happily with a wagging tail and wiggling body, showing gentle and kind behavior throughout the interaction. He would do great in a home with kids and is truly a family dog just expect him to be your oversized lap dog. Victor can be a bit enthusiastic on leash and may pull at times, so his adopter should be comfortable handling a strong, large dog and able to manage his excitement. Victor could thrive in either an apartment or a home, as he is generally very calm and laid back. He doesn’t require a lot of play or stimulation and would be happiest spending his days cuddling and loving on his person. Victor is a true lover boy. If you’re looking for a best friend and lifelong cuddle companion, Victor may be your perfect match. His sweet, gentle kisses and big, expressive face are truly something special. Story
Brandy is a kind of dog who instantly makes a room feel brighter when she walks into it. Her sweet personality and happy presence has a way of making everyone feel like her favorite person. Brandy is a two-year-old cane Corso with a heart as big as she is. She absolutely loves people and thrives being around them. No matter if she’s playing relaxing or just hanging out next to you, she’s happiest with her humans. She’s affectionate without being overwhelming and has a wonderful balance of playful energy and relaxing qualities. Check out her YouTube video https://youtu.be/irq7E7eI1KY?si=rzMh2fIzKywbNLLE She is incredibly social with other dogs and loves all dogs, especially enjoying playtime with those who have a medium energy level for enjoys roaming and playing, but it’s just happy to settle down and relax when she had her fun. She would do great with another dog in the home- maybe a more submissive aloof dog but she would also be great as an only dog. Brandy is fairly well on a leash, sometimes she gets a little excited and pulls, because of this she would do best with an owner who can handle her strength. Brandy would love to have a yard to play in. She should not go into a home with cats. She finds them way too interesting. Brandy also adores toys and treats, treats in particular seem to be her love language and it’s safe to say they’re one of her favorite things . Despite her playful nature, she has a gentle side, especially with kids. She does very well with children and handle their excitement, energy with patience and grace. Because she is a big girl and will jump quite a bit especially for treats I think for now she would do best in a home with an older kid maybe 12 and up! Brandy would make a wonderful addition into a home with people who want loyal, loving, and companion one who is always ready to play, relax and simply be by your side .
