MEET BUBBA!This handsome man is Bubba, a large mixed-breed dog who is ready to make you his new best friend. Bubba was found as a stray, so we do not know what his life was like prior to coming to us but his sweet, friendly personality has definitely shown through! He would do best with older, sturdy kids as he can be a bouncy guy who does not realize just how strong he is. He has shown interest in other dogs here in the shelter, so may be OK living with another dog pending a dog meet. If you are interested in learning more about Bubba, stop by our Dedham shelter!My friends describe me as: Friendly, bouncy, outgoingBubba is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays.For information about our adoption process click here

Story
Meet our gentle giant, a Cane Corso and Neapolitan Mastiff mix born April 26, 2024. At 167 lbs, he’s a loving cuddlebug who enjoys being close to his people, whether lying by your feet or rolling happily in the grass. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and knows sit, stay, and heel. He can stay out of the crate alone without causing damage. He’s friendly with strangers, good with cats, and has attended daycare and puppy play camp. While sometimes reactive with dogs at first, he redirects easily and often becomes playful after proper introductions. We love him deeply, but cannot give him the space, time, and exercise he deserves. He would thrive with someone experienced with large guardian breeds who can continue his training and confidence. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, protection, and endless love. He’s ready for a forever family.
