Originally a Craigslist purchase (bad idea!), she was surrendered after a stint with a family unfamiilar to the breed, including a young child with whom she didn't quite connect. Since being in her foster home, she has mastered crate, leash, and house training. Connie's heart finds joy in car rides, and the great outdoors beckons to her adventurous spirit – hiking and walks in the woods are her jam! Her ideal home is one where she can revel in peace and tranquility, preferably in a rural setting with a human home during the day. While she dreams of a loving home, Connie needs to be the only girl, either as the only dog or alongside a large/giant breed brother. Feline friends aren't her cup of tea though! He is the type of dog that can see into your soul, so if you have bad intentions you are best to steer clear. Bishop is a happy pup who enjoys doing what his humans are doing. Want to go for a run or hike? Bishop is down. Want to curl up and cuddle with a good movie? Bishop is down. Want to go on a road trip? Bishop is down. Bishop does well with medium and up even tempered well balanced dogs. Small dogs and cats are a no go for him. Bishop needs a yard with a 6 foot privacy fence to keep him safe. Though he is smaller in stature than a full blooded Corso, his personality is all Corso. Bishop will be protective of his home and people and needs a structured home with prior guardian breed experience. Bishop has good house manners and is crate trained. Though he has been around a small child in his foster home, due to his protective nature he would do best in a home with older or no kids. True to his breed, He is protective of his home and people. Loyal to a fault, he loves his humans. Though he loves kids, due to some resource guarding behavior, he needs a home without young children. Duke is very good on his basic obedience and he is crate trained. He does well with other even temperament dogs and is generally pretty easy going guy. He would be best in a home with no small dogs or cats. His adoptive home must have a 6 foot privacy fence, to keep him safe. And must be (within 50 miles) local to the Saint Louis metropolitan area. Sky is approximately one year old. She is crate trained, potty trained and knows basic commands. She walks on a leash and recalls well. She is good with older children and some dogs. She does not get along well with my Labrador but does get along with my Pit mix. I took her from a friend back in December that needed to rehome her and the conflict with my current dog is a hinderance to keeping her. She is not aggressive, but true to the breed in being dominant. She is protective and strong. She behaves well inside and is not destructive. She is food driven and eager to please. She is such a sweet girl and I would love to find her a loving home with an experienced dog owner. She is strong willed and needs an owner that is direct and firm.
