True to his breed, He is protective of his home and people. Loyal to a fault, he loves his humans. Though he loves kids, due to some resource guarding behavior, he needs a home without young children. Duke is very good on his basic obedience and he is crate trained. He does well with other even temperament dogs and is generally pretty easy going guy. He would be best in a home with no small dogs or cats. His adoptive home must have a 6 foot privacy fence, to keep him safe. And must be (within 50 miles) local to the Saint Louis metropolitan area.
