Story
Meet Biscoff, a stunning female Cane Corso and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix around two years old, who is absolutely mesmerizing! Even during a first outing with one of our volunteers, it was clear this girl is special. She is very treat motivated (so motivated, she’ll help herself to your fanny pack if you leave it open!), and she already knows how to sit. Biscoff is a dog who loves to engage her senses, actively loves to sniff, and even showed great interest in a "find it" game once she caught on. She's also playful, spending a solid 30 minutes just enjoying her stuffy. Best of all, once she trusts you, she is an affectionate sweetheart, leaning right in for well-deserved pets. If you want a smart, engaging, and playful companion who will work hard for a good snack, Biscoff is your girl!

Story
Stella is 2 yr old very energetic, loving, loyal, silly curious & has to be involved in everything. A gentle giant of sorts. My daughter got her when she was just a baby. She was the runt of the litter and her mom wasnt feeding her so when we brought her home she was being bottle fed. We have all grown very attached to her but with my daughter off @ college and I work about 55-60 hrs a week, she is alone most of the time & she dont like being alone. when I get home she is just full of energy & I'm not. It is gonna break my heart to see her go but I know she deserves a better quality life than what I am able to provide. She plays with my cat & several family members dogs. She has an aggressive bark that scares alot of people but I promise she is very vocal but as soon as you talk to her she will probably pee all over. Besides the cat her best friend is my 5yr grandson. She puts herself between him & strangers but has never acted like she will bite. Just protective.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Connie, a captivating 7.5-year-old Cane Corso with a stunning blue fawn brindle coat. Originally a Craigslist purchase (bad idea!), she was surrendered after a stint with a family unfamiilar to the breed, including a young child with whom she didn't quite connect. Since being in her foster home, she has mastered crate, leash, and house training. Connie's heart finds joy in car rides, and the great outdoors beckons to her adventurous spirit – hiking and walks in the woods are her jam! Her ideal home is one where she can revel in peace and tranquility, preferably in a rural setting with a human home during the day. While she dreams of a loving home, Connie needs to be the only girl, either as the only dog or alongside a large/giant breed brother. Feline friends aren't her cup of tea though! If you can offer the unique love and environment Connie seeks, you might just be her perfect match. Your journey with Connie begins by completing a Family Profile application on our website. Story
Duke, 6yrs, Male, Cane Corso, Brindle, 150# Duke is an amazing boy, but he is all Corso. Only homes with guardian breed experience will be considered for adoption. True to his breed, He is protective of his home and people. Loyal to a fault, he loves his humans. Though he loves kids, due to some resource guarding behavior, he needs a home without young children. Duke is very good on his basic obedience and he is crate trained. He does well with other even temperament dogs and is generally pretty easy going guy. He would be best in a home with no small dogs or cats. His adoptive home must have a 6 foot privacy fence, to keep him safe. And must be (within 50 miles) local to the Saint Louis metropolitan area. Duke's adoption donation is $450.00 and he is up to date and fully vetted. Interested adopters must submit an adoption application through our website, steppingstonebully.org to be considered.

Story
Get ready to meet Gambino, a handsome dog with a heart of gold who is just waiting to become your devoted co-pilot in life! This middle-aged gentleman is proof that second chances are beautiful. Gambino has had a rough start, enduring a life chained up outside and then spending several months in a shelter kennel after his rescue. Thankfully, he has been safe in a foster home for the last few weeks, decompressing and learning what it means to be a cherished pet. Now, all he needs is a patient, loving person who can help his past trauma become a distant memory. Gambino is a truly dedicated lover boy, and his favorite place in the world is right by your side. He’s incredibly clingy because he views his person as the most important thing in the world, making him a naturally protective companion. He has a history of making friends easily with women and is simply looking for a confident, patient handler who can help him feel secure and show him the world is safe. He’s food and praise motivated, knows his basic commands, and he loves all the scratches, especially on his neck! He’s also a big fan of toys and chews—rope toys, squeakers, balls, chew bones, you name it, he likes it! Gambino is the total package when it comes to house manners. He is perfectly potty-trained and a star student in his kennel, heading to his crate easily with just a little help from a tasty frozen Kong. He’s a dream on the leash and responds perfectly to "sit" and "no." He would probably prefer a secure fenced-in yard where he can relax and enjoy his time outdoors, without the restriction of a leash. This guy thrives on routine and clear boundaries. Due to his history as a watchdog, he would likely thrive as the solo pet in the home. He's working hard on being a little more gentle with accepting treats (he still gets a little chomp-happy!) but shows great improvement with every new skill he learns. Gambino's ideal home is one where his person is ready for a shadow and a snuggle machine! He is a sweetheart who is just beginning to learn how wonderful life can be. If you're looking for a devoted, cuddly, and house-trained best friend who will make you feel loved and appreciated every single day, look no further than the charming Gambino!
