He can be a bit shy at first and may need a few minutes to warm up, but once he does, he reveals himself to be a very affectionate boy who loves to snuggle. Don’t let his intense stares fool you—Ripper has a big heart and just needs the right home where he can feel safe and blossom into the social dog we know he can be. His previous owner noted that he was involved in a fight with another dog in the home, so at this time he may do best as the only dog, though this could change once he’s in a calmer environment. Due to his timid nature, Ripper would thrive in an adult-only home that can give him the patience and understanding he needs to build confidence 💙.
