Story
Little Lady is a loving and caring pup. She is fan of playing fetch and jumping on the trampoline with the kids she lived with. She loves snuggles and affection, but does take a bit to warm up to new people. Her leash manners need a bit of work, but she will learn quickly not to pull with some persistent reminders and treats. She promises to pay you back in lots of snuggles and cuddles each and every day.

Story
Hi, I’m Frankie. I’m a 6‑year‑old gentle giant with a quiet soul and a big, kind heart. I enjoy taking life at a calm pace and strolling nicely on the leash, just happy to be by your side. I may not be the loudest in the room, but my steady presence and sweet nature speak for themselves. Frankie would like you to understand that moving to a new place is sometimes unsettling. He will need time and patience to settle in if you are going to leave him alone. Perhaps, leaving for short periods to see how he adjusts would make him understand you really are coming back. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion who brings comfort and calm wherever he goes, I might just be your guy.

Story
Sasha is a bit shy. This place is loud and not familiar and who you see in the kennel is not usually the true doggo. She is smart, curious and ready to learn. Sasha will love toys which challenge her brain and things that keep her active. She will thrive when she has the chance to learn something new and is ready for new opportunity. So take your time to get to know her, she will warm up and blossom...she just might need a few minutes.

Story
*** COURTESY LISTING *** PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL THE PERSON LISTED. DO NOT CONTACT WARF AS WE HAVE NO FURTHER INFO. I have situation that is a bit overwhelming to me. We had 3 dogs, one being mom Nala and her two puppies that kept getting out at my home and fenced area in Virginia City Highlands that got me trouble with the sheriff. We had placed them temporarily in Carson at my boyfriend's house which his dad is always there but his dog and one of the male dog did not get along and caused more issues. During this time and all of last year my daughter was in and out of hospital for her asthma that made unable to address the concerns with the dogs. Now the issue has increased to where they need to be rehomed to loving care where they could enjoy a life they enjoy. Nala is now 4 and will be 5 in June. She had a bad experience at the vet during her last visit being spayed. They were aggressive with her and said she was a mean bad dog but she wasn't. She was scared. Then after having puppies she got out and started barking aggressively at their horse and neighbors that they reported said she bite the horse but no evidence she did and case was dropped. She does bark at unknown faces and runs away. She has not bitten anyone. I'm bit nervous how she would do but she deserves a home someone will pay fetch, tug o war with and love her and have more time. We are behind 6 months to a year plus months on vaccinations. She needs some walking training as she pulls. She would be a great guard dog. She was great with my kids but she does play rough like with her whole body. If you are interested in meeting Nala, please contact the owner at tynaia1323@gmail.com or 650-996-9956May 28, 2026, 7:49 pm

Story
CURRENTLY IN FOSTER IN SAN DIEGO     -Crate trained -Potty trained  -Walks well on leash and knows all essential commands.  -As he is still a puppy, with that he is curious about everything and can have some fear leash reactivity to other dogs, but handles corrections very well and settles quickly. As of now, it is only on occasion, (recent example: nighttime walk with a passing dog with a light up collar). -He has solid recall on leash to redirect or heel and respects boundaries well.  -He is learning the size of his big body and is so incredibly gentle, but a goof on occasion, as he should :)! -He lives beautifully with his 13 year old black lab brother. He is gentle, patient and kind towards him. Such a love! His foster mom gave a slow and structured intro over about a week and they became besties!  -Gus lives with other neighboring dogs of all sizes and ages and minds his business. He has gone on a couple of out of town vacations with his foster mom and needs structure through his safe space crate but loves the adventure and does well in the car. -His foster mom has prioritized cooperative care and he takes his grooming wonderfully and loves his morning/afternoon and evening snuggles! He doesn’t miss an opportunity to get some love ❤️!  -Gus will be the family protector and bestie and would thrive with anyone who understands how intelligent and sensitive Anatolian/Shepards are. There is no fooling them ☺️.   -Gus has so much love to give and would do best with anyone with a moderate to active lifestyle. He is also an excellent homebody! His foster family has helped Gus build confidence to settle and entertain himself with enrichment toys while learning self regulation. He is perfectly content with a 30-60 min walk once a day, adequate potty breaks, some lovin’, and a good honey collagen hide.  -Great with kids, tested 4 and up. Gus is always curious, but submissive and gentle around all other babies/kids, but only tested with 4 and up. He’s a huge (95 lb) puppy and is still learning his body/size .   May 18, 2026, 4:59 pm
