Meet Juno! This gentle pup is looking for a home that will give her tons of love! Juno is a wonderful leash walker. She is very gentle and will stick right by your side. Juno is shy and may get nervous in new environments; she looks to her people for reassurance. She is a fan of most treats and accepts them gently when offered. Juno likes toys but is more interested in being near her person and basking in their affection. She is best suited for a home with older children and would do well with another dog who can help her with her confidence. Juno is a sweetheart. Come in and meet her today!

Story
Words from her foster dad: Faith is a Cane Corso who was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of her own after living her whole life with one family. She is five years old (born Jan. 2020). She weighs about 90 pounds. I took her home to foster for a while to help her recover from having her “cherry eyes” corrected. She did fine and now she needs to find a new home. Faith is a very affectionate and sweet girl. She loves treats and going for walks. I had to keep her in one room by herself because of my other dogs, and I could tell she really wanted to be out and about in the house. In fact her previous owner said she was allowed free in the house when no one was home. She does pretty well on a leash and in the car, and has been around children, although due to her size and energy it might be best if she went to a home with no small children. She also would do best as an only pet. I have to take Faith back to the shelter soon and I really hope her new person finds her before she spends too much more time in the shelter. It’s a stressful place for her and she really deserves to be in her own home. If you have any questions about Faith or want to meet her, call me, Bob, at 757-237-2430.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 21, 2025, 6:05 am

Story
Mia is a 9 month old cane corso who was recently surrendered for not doing well with the child in the home. Mia needs an adult home only with BREED EXPERIENCE and someone to understand and respect her nervousness. Mia is very nervous around new people but once she knows you she loves pets and attention. Since being surrendered we have learned that she really loves baby talk and going for long walks on trails. We are unsure how she feels about other animals so feel free to bring in any resident dogs to meet her.   Mia is currently in a back kennel so if you don’t see her, please just ask! WHO LIKES BIG MUTTS AND THEY CANNOT LIE? COCO - 1 1/2 years old, 100+ pounds, crate & house trained, playfuL Coco is a big girl who was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her. She is smart, active, and loves to be with her family so much so that after a few hours alone she may start to feel anxious. She is the dog who will come to you and stare until she gets attention. Why are you not petting her yet? HAHA Coco will roll over for you to rub her belly. She loves attention! Coco is playful and loves all types of dog toys. We don't yet know how she feels about other dogs so bring yours in for a meet and greet and let's see! *Please remember we strongly encourage constant supervision when it comes to the doggos in your home. *Just a note here, she does have a cherry eye which doesn't seem to affect her vision or attitude.
