Meet Bunny 🐾 Bunny is a 2.5-year-old Cane Corso/Mastiff mix who may have some extra challenges, but what stands out most about her is her incredibly sweet and loving heart. At 63 pounds, she’s on the smaller side for her breed and absolutely full of affection. Bunny is a special needs dog with Wobbler syndrome, which affects her mobility—she has a wobbly gait and can sometimes lose her balance. She is on daily medication to help manage her condition and keep her comfortable. In March 2026, she underwent surgery to stabilize her knees, and her recovery has been going incredibly well. Because of her condition, Bunny will need ongoing care, including periodic neurologist visits. The Asher House is committed to her and is open to sponsoring her medical care—we truly just want to see this special girl in a loving home where she can thrive. Despite everything she’s been through, Bunny remains such a happy, gentle soul. She’s done well in playgroups and enjoys the company of other dogs, though she doesn’t spend much time in the large pack these days. She can be a little mouthy at times, but it’s not aggressive—just part of her playful, expressive personality. Because of this, Bunny would do best in a home with kids 10 and over and without cats. Bunny would do best in a patient, understanding home that can support her needs and appreciate her for exactly who she is. She doesn’t let her challenges define her—and neither should you. She’s resilient, loving, and so deserving of a family to call her own. If you have a soft spot for dogs who need a little extra love, Bunny will give it right back tenfold. Filling out the application is not a commitment to an adoption and needs to be done prior to any further questions you might have or information you are seeking. Our Process is the following: 1. Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a 'Meet and Greet' then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go.

Sergio is a 1.5 year old dog, who was originally adopted from a shelter under the impression he was just a Labrador. Although, his DNA testing and behavior revealed he is a Cane Corso mix.He requires a lifestyle dedicated to structure, training and physical/ mental fulfillment. He is food and toy motivated and enjoys receiving high praise for doing well. He loves to play ball and tug and would be a great dog for detection work. He needs an experienced and confident handler. He can be challenging to handle over leash frustration when around triggers by displaying extreme mouthiness and jumping towards the handler.His current owner has been working with a professional trainer and Sergio has made meaningful progress. He will need an adopter committed to continuing his training.Sergio is loving, and a highly capable dog who wants to do well. He is being rehomed because his current owner recognizes Sergio deserves a home to fit and fulfill the lifestyle of his guardian breed.
