Story
We are rehoming our dog June. She is about 70 pounds and 2 years old. She has the sweetest little personality. She is an escape artist. She is fine when the owners are in the yard with her, but when left alone she escapes anything and everything. We have a 4 foot fence she jumps over, we have tried GPS training collars, electric collars, and even built a six foot tall fence that she was able to push through. She has the potential to be a great dog, but will need time and a very secure yard or lots of property. She will also not do well with small animals. She is known to jump the fence and has killed neighborhood cats. She is not aggressive to people at all, and has no food aggression. She is quite the snuggler and loves to be with her people. We are heartbroken to be rehoming her, but we live in a community with lots of small neighborhood pets, and we cannot contain her. We’ve tried everything. She does do wonderful with other big playful dogs, and would thrive in a home with lots o

Story
Hi, I'm Shai!I'm 100 pounds of good boy looking for a forever home experienced with large breeds and time to dedicate to my daily exercise needs. I'm a big, sweet lug who would love to go everywhere with you! Trip to the beach? I'm in! Camping? You bet! I have a medical release about my skin at the shelter. I am about 3.5 years old. Do you like other dogs? I've been a bit tense meeting new dogs and would like to start out as the only dog in my home. What do you think about cats? I have an unknown history and staff do not know how I'd do living with a cat. Due to my size, you'd need to be prepared to manage our interactions very closely and provide a safe space for the kitty to hang out without me.So how do you feel about kids? I can be sensitive about my space and jumpy at times when excited. I am looking for a home with older kiddos (12+). Please bring any kids I'd be spending lots of time with to make sure we're a good fit.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Halo is a very sweet dog. She loves our kids and us and when she gets excited her little tail starts wagging. She will bark when unkown people come to door. She likes to chase cats but hasn't hurt one. She gets along with our other dogs, but at times becomes territorial over her food and toys when my other dogs are nearby. I can no longer keep her and my English Mastiff together at any time. She cannot be allowed around chickens and or small indoor pets such as guinea pigs. She should be the only dog in a house due to uncertainty around other animals. If she was my only dog I would keep her as she is such a sweet dog to us, but unfortunately I can't keep her and my English Mastiff together. She is still in-tact because I cannot afford to get her spayed due to an economic hardship during the last year.
