Story
Meet Topaz! A sweet and cuddly companion with a playful and goofy side. She's a bit shy at first but give her time, and she'll show her loyal heart. Topaz thrives as the only pet, ideal for a home without small animals due to her high prey drive. Due to her cautious nature, Topaz would do best as the only dog in the home, unless adopted with her friend, Sapphire. She prefers slow introductions to new friends and environments, and would benefit from an experienced adopter who can help her learn her manners. Topaz will fill her forever home with joy and laughter, making every day brighter. If you're looking for a devoted friend to share in life's adventures, Topaz is the perfect match. If you are interested in Topaz, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with her at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.

Story
Meet Waylon! An outgoing, big boy that enjoys meeting new people and loves to give affection to his new friends. He is working on his manners so we are suggesting he go with older kids/teens just due to his size and excitability. He came from a home with other dogs but can be selective with newer dog friends. He comes on very strongly and will need an adopter that can handle a big boy such as himself. He does not have any known experience with cats, but due to his size and excitable nature- he may not be the best fit for them. It would be up to the adopter to do a slow introduction to new things. If you are interested in Waylon, please call is here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time. Story
Meet Emma, who is ready to find her forever couch! She adores her toys, especially the squeaky ones, and will happily chase a ball (though she might not always bring it back!). Emma is incredibly smart and food-motivated. She's also house-trained and crate-trained, making her the perfect addition to any family. Emma is a true people-person and is great with all humans. She's on the lookout for a home where she can be the center of attention and doesn't want to share her space with other pets. But that just means more love for you! When she's not playing, Emma takes her role as your protector very seriously, always keeping an eye out for any potential dangers. And when her duties are done, she loves nothing more than snoozing the day away on the couch. If you're looking for a faithful and fun-loving friend, Emma could be the one for you. Kids 12 and up only. Previous experience with Cane Corsos or guardian breeds is required. Only homeowners with fenced yards will be considered. To apply, visit http://www.almosthomeri.org. It is important to know that Aggie and her sister, Emma, were confiscated from a Providence auto repair shop. They were purchased as puppies and lived in junk cars on the property until Providence Animal Control liberated them.

Story
Hello, I’m Aggie! I’m in search of my forever home. I like to bark when I see dogs but when properly introduced, I get along with dogs, even the ankle biters. I’m incredibly sweet and affectionate. While I may not fully grasp my size, I know how to show you love with plenty of kisses, drool, and face licks! When I greet people, I tend to jump up to get a better look at them. I’m working on it, but sometimes I forget. I take treats very gently. Car rides are my favorite—I’ll even buckle up! I might pull a bit on the leash when we first head out, but I improve as we continue our walk. I’m not sure about cats at this time, and I prefer a home with kids aged 12 and older.
