She is about 65 lbs. She knows basic commands, is crate trained and uses the doggy door. She loves to play outside in the yard or inside with her bones. She also loves to cuddle with her people. Her journey to this point has been nothing short of remarkable. She had a tough start to life, found by a kind soul who saw she was severely burned from head to tail. Thanks to exceptional veterinary care and the loving attention of her medical foster, she’s now healthy and thriving. Phoenix had a tough start to life and is going to need someone who will be patient with this sweet girl to help her feel safe. She will need a home where she can be the only dog. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
