This one-year old spayed Cane Corso is not only potty trained and up-to-date on shots, but also microchipped for safety. She’s gentle, friendly, and good with everyone. She is 60 lbs. Her journey to this point has been nothing short of remarkable. She had a tough start to life, found by a kind soul who saw she was severely burned from head to tail. Thanks to exceptional veterinary care and the loving attention of her medical foster, she’s now healthy and thriving. We adopted Luna a week ago from a kill shelter.She was left there by her family due to a supposed bite to a child( they did not file an official record) We met her at the shelter and she had a calm demeanor.The shelter staff said she had some barrier reactivity.They took her to a playgroup with other dogs,and noted she gave gentle correction and just wanted to be left alone .Volunteers to the shelter were able to feed her treats in her kennel.The first day we had her home she did growl at myself and my daughter( decompressing and we got in her space too much )She has not growled since then.We have left her alone in our office to decompress.She was in the office all day while we went to back to work,and no accidents and she did not try to get out.She knows sit,wait,and lay down.We think she could do well in a home with no kids,and a person with experience with the breed.She has been doing well on walks.
