Story
Trixie has never met a stranger, though she tends to be a bit shy until she becomes familiar with someone. She is an excellent companion who thrives on being with her people but she requires slow introductions to new people. She just needs a little time and patience. She is wonderful with other dogs, children, and even the resident barn cat, whom she ignores. She has also been great around livestock. Trixie would likely do well in a home where she can spend more time outside of her crate or possibly in a home without a crate altogether, though she is very well crate trained. On the few occasions she has been left out, she did not destroy anything. She loves treats but shows little interest in toys. Overall, she is fantastic dog who would flourish in a home where she receives more attention and affection. She has not shown an ounce of aggression, even when handled by her collar or leash. She is house-trained and so far has been around children aged 9 to 20 years. She gets along well with the resident dogs, which includes three pit bulls and a Chihuahua, and interacts positively with them.

Story
Meet Cane – The Ultimate Friendly Dog! Cane is the sweetest Cane Corso/Pit mix with a heart full of love! This dog-friendly, affectionate pup was sadly abandoned outside a Walmart, but that hasn’t dampened his loving spirit. Cane is young, playful, and incredibly people-oriented—he follows his humans everywhere, rolls over for belly rubs, and even hops on the couch like he’s part of the family. With his soft tan coat and gentle nature, Cane may be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and just wants to be loved. He has been well cared for, recently neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, making him ready for his forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly dog to be your new best friend, Cane is the perfect match! Could you be the one to give him the love and security he deserves?

Story
We rescued Nala on Christmas Day in 2023, and since then, we have been searching for the right place where she will be truly safe and loved. She had a rough start in life and came to us from an abusive situation, so finding her perfect person is incredibly important to us. If that person can not be found, she will continue to stay with us where she is safe. Nala does best with children over 9 that can respect her boundaries Nala is a sweet, protective girl who loves being the center of attention. She thrives in an environment where she can be the only pet with no other dogs or animals because she really does want all the love for herself. She has so much affection to give in return. She recently had surgery to correct a cherry eye, but unfortunately, it wasn't successful, so she does require regular eye drops in that eye. She gets a little confused with commands sometimes. Nala is crate trained and does best crated if left alone. Her fee would be a donation to a local rescue.

Story
Meet Sixta!Sixta is a gentle giant with a heart full of love and a soul that radiates warmth. Though she may be large in size, her demeanor is as sweet and tender as they come. Sixta is a 1.5 year old Cane Corso mix, who is crate and potty trained. Sixta lives with Wobbler Syndrome, a condition that affects her mobility. But don`t let that fool you—she`s still capable of enjoying most activities, especially those that involve lounging on the couch and soaking up affection! She also experiences seizures for which she receives two medications to control these. She does require some assistance getting up and down, and she appreciates a patient companion who understands that she might need a little extra time. This lovable couch potato is fantastic with kids, cats, and every creature she`s met. While she gets along well with other dogs, she prefers calm interactions. If playtime becomes too energetic, she might let out a bark to express her discomfort, but she has never shown any aggression.Sixta`s sweet nature and occasional silliness are sure to capture your heart. She`s looking for a forever home filled with love, patience, and plenty of cozy spots to relax. If you`re ready to welcome a special girl into your life, Sixta is eager to meet you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Eros need a new home with space and needs attention most of the time. Very playful dog and listens very well, he looks aggressive but isn’t at all. Just very playful and energetic. This breed is very protective so once he’s attached he will always be at your side. He’s at the age where he is trying to test boundaries so a firm owner is needed. This is a big dog breed he is only 1yr old so he still has 2 more years to be fully grown and calm. He was born with a cleft upper jaw so he does look a little off in person but It never affected his diet.
