Here's Holland...barely a year old and at 92 pounds is a big, loveable "pup". He is the perfect companion for anyone who likes a quiet dog, who knows his commands and puppy manners, and wants nothing more than to be your cuddle buddy whenever you want one. Holland has a calm and easy-going personality that despite his size, makes him easy to walk on a leash and to take in the car for adventures. His love for people stands out as his most endearing quality. Holland will be available for adoption soon, but in the meantime, he NEEDS A FOSTER to give him the loving, supportive home he deserves & desires as he waits for his permanent family. She does best with a gentle, loving, and patient parent who will continue to show her the care and attention she deserves. Story
Sully is an 80lb lapdog- no one has told him that he’s kind beefy! This gentle giant is such a friendly guy. He does great with children, accepting all the love and belly rubs! He takes treats super gently, doesn’t guard and easily lets you take toys or food away from him. He has done really well with his two dog foster siblings, he is playful but respectful and listens to their cues. When Sully sees other big dogs out and about he seems excited to meet them, when he sees small dogs he is less enthusiastic so would require slow introductions if he is to be successful around small dogs, he is a strong boy that will benefit from a confident, experienced handler. He hasn’t met cats with his foster family but has been reasonably calm around their chickens. Sully would be a great workshop dog or companion for someone that works from home, he is a velcro dog, happiest when he is with his people - but don’t worry you won't want to be far from his whiskery walrus kisses anyway! He is a champ in the car, happy to be along for the ride. In a previous life someone has clearly worked with him on training. He knows lots of commands (sit, down, paw, wait, leave it), walks amazingly on a lead and is crate trained. Sully has become more playful and active as he has healed but he still values ear scratches and naps above all else.
