Meet Piper, the smiley, squishy-faced lovebug who seems physically incapable of not being adored. From the second you meet her, she’s all in, leaning her whole body into you for hugs, nudging for booty rubs, and flashing that absolutely ridiculous underbite that makes her look permanently thrilled to be alive. She doesn’t need much time to warm up because honestly, she assumes you’re already best friends. Ear scratches? Yes please. Attention? More please. All of it? Definitely. We think Piper is a Cane Corso/ Boxer mix and she’s about 2 years young! And don’t be fooled, despite her Corso face, she’s on the smaller side! She is pure squishy faced perfection if you ask me! She’s playful, confident, and brings big “play play play!” energy to her doggy friendships. She loves to tumble, chase, zoom, and wrestle, and does best with dogs who enjoy rough-and-rowdy fun but also know how to take breaks so the party doesn’t go on forever. She’s been great with a variety of play styles, from goofy gals who love chase to more laid-back dudes who pop in and out of play, because Piper truly does not discriminate, if you’re a dog, she’s probably into you. She would absolutely love a yard for epic zoomie sessions, but apartment life isn’t out of the question as long as her people are active and excited to take her on walks, outings, and adventures. She’s smart, eager, and very trainable, even if she’s currently more interested in everything happening around her than showing off perfect leash skills. As for cats, Piper says that’s a no! She finds them way too interesting, so a cat-free home will be her happy place. With kids, Piper has the potential to be a wonderful family dog because she’s incredibly gentle, sweet, and people-loving, but she does have a habit of giving enthusiastic “hugs” when she’s excited. Because of that, we’ll definitely want to do a kid test before saying for sure, just to make sure everyone’s set up for success. Birdie is the sweetest, most gentle big girl you’ll ever meet. She thrives on closeness and absolutely loves companionship, soaking up every bit of affection she can get. Birdie adores people. She’s always happy to be close, and when I first met her, she immediately leaned into me for pets. Once you’re her person, she loves you with her whole heart. She’s a very large Cane Corso with an even bigger heart. She is incredibly sweet, very treat-motivated, and consistently shows just how easygoing and affectionate she is during her time with us. While she isn’t overly playful with other dogs, Birdie gets along wonderfully with them. She currently lives peacefully with five other dogs and does great. She’s happy to sniff, coexist, and enjoy another dog’s presence without needing constant play. Given her more mature, relaxed nature, she would do best with a medium to low energy dog and has seemed to prefer female dogs. Birdie’s favorite activities include exploring the yard, playing with toys, enjoying treats, and most importantly, being close to the people she loves. She adores leaning against you, cuddling up, and simply being nearby. She is very easy on leash and walks right next to you, making her a great candidate for apartment living, though she would be just as happy in a home with a yard to wander and stretch her legs. Because of her size and curiosity, Birdie would not be a good fit for a home with cats. She’s simply a little too interested and a little too big for them. Birdie is wonderful with kids. She recently met a four and eight year old and immediately walked up to them with a wiggling butt and gentle kisses. She loved them. Her calm and gentle nature makes her a great companion for children, though a home with slightly older kids may be best considering her size and age. Birdie is a truly special soul. Victor has the cutest face and the biggest heart. He is a true lover boy who simply wants to be your best friend. When I met Victor, he greeted me with friendly enthusiasm, full of wiggles and eager for affection. He immediately sought out pets and attention, making it clear just how much he loves his people. He recently met multiple dogs of different sizes and temperaments and handled each interaction beautifully. While he wasn’t interested in playing, he remained calm and friendly, preferring to stay close to his people. Victor would do well as the only dog in the home or with another dog. If placed with a canine companion, a more aloof, low-energy dog would likely be the best match. Due to his size and curiosity, Victor would not be a good fit for a home with cats, as he showed a bit too much interest. Victor did wonderfully meeting children, including a four and eight year old. He approached them happily with a wagging tail and wiggling body, showing gentle and kind behavior throughout the interaction. He would do great in a home with kids and is truly a family dog just expect him to be your oversized lap dog. Victor can be a bit enthusiastic on leash and may pull at times, so his adopter should be comfortable handling a strong, large dog and able to manage his excitement. Victor could thrive in either an apartment or a home, as he is generally very calm and laid back. He doesn’t require a lot of play or stimulation and would be happiest spending his days cuddling and loving on his person. Victor is a true lover boy.
