Story
Kid-friendly, dog-friendly, highly trainable and affectionate, Princess just might be perfect. A true gentle giant, and absolutely gorgeous, Princess is so easy to fall in love with. Estimated to be 3 years old, and weighing in at 81 pounds, we believe that Princess is purebred Cane Corso. She is a rescue, so her exact lineage cannot be guaranteed. Fall in love with Princess here: https://youtu.be/ymECBn5I9DY?feature=shared Princess is absolutely gorgeous, with the signature blocky head of a Cane Corso and her muscular body. She has a beautiful black coat that almost appears to be layered on top of a brindle coat, in the sunshine she’s golden. She has these golden eyes, and uses eye contact to connect with her humans. She has such a lovely, gentle and slow personality, and really values human connection. She’s one of those dogs that will truly feel like a member of the family. With other dogs, Princess is a perfectly well behaved lady. She doesn’t pull on leash to meet new dogs, and she doesn’t bark or lunge. Princess meets new dogs calmly, and once she knows them she’s so playful! Princess is currently fostered at a doggy daycare, where she goes to playgroup every day with groups of 10-15 dogs at a time. She’s fun and bouncy with other dogs, but her gentle giant nature keeps her gait fairly slow. Don’t expect her to keep up with your rowdy and rambunctious zooming pup, but definitely do expect some playtime out of her! We could see her in a home with a medium energy male, that won’t push too much for play before Princess is ready. Princess is easy on leash, and very obedient. She hasn’t learned many commands yet, but she’s shown us that she’s incredibly smart and teachable. She’s food motivated and a fast learner. Princess is also good in the car, she’s big, so she fits best in the backseat or back of an SUV, and she doesn’t mind riding back there at all. Princess is also patient when the door opens, and will wait for you to leash her up. With her humans, Princess is affection-seeking and sweet. She will come in for pets, and lean her head on your lap. She loves to have her head scratched and she’s super tolerant with her people. Kids are no exception, Princess loves them too! She’s gentle and precious with them. She has so much patience with children, we saw her with a four year old and a six year old and she didn’t mind any of their antics at all! Running, kicking and loud noises didn’t faze her, she didn’t even flinch when our four year old volunteer pushed on her back. Princess is ready for her forever home. A word to the wise: these gorgeous, gentle giant types go fast, so apply today! Princess could live with other dogs, but she’s so people-focused that we know she would adore being your one and only. We think Princess could live in a house or an apartment. Princess could make a great family dog. We are willing to test Princess with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $1600 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
This is a courtesy post. Please contact Kara directly at the number or email below. Brinks is a 2yr old Cane Corso. He enjoys snuggling, and being as close to his people as he can be. When he is happy He wiggles his whole body from his short tail all the way to his grinning smile. He is a little shy for the first few minutes of meeting new people, but opens up quickly and then begs for lovins. He is a typical adolescent mastiff, and although he is happy to lounge around, he does get the zoomies and would do best with a larger yard to romp and play. He walks okay on a leash but hasn’t fully learned exactly where to be and will pull or zig-zag on a walk. He will need someone patient and knowledgeable on the basics of training to help him learn how to walk better on a leash, and understand basic commands. He is very treat motivated, so he is ready to learn! He does not jump up on people, and isn’t a big barker. He has gotten along well with other like minded female dogs. We have not introduced him to cats. A new home should have no livestock and must have a fenced yard. Please contact Kara via call or text for more questions (509) 260-1366 Karathegroomer@gmail.com Brinks is scheduled for a neuter soon

Story
Hi there, I’m Ruby! I’m a playful pup with a big heart and four weeks of professional training under my collar. I’ve learned my manners (even though sometimes I get a little too excited and play rough so supervision and FIRM correction is a must! What can I say? I'm not even 2 yet.) It'd be great if you'd help me keep my skills in tip-top shape as they're very important to me. I’m crate trained and will let you know when I need to go out—no accidents on my watch! I’m looking for a person who’s as strong-willed as I am and knows a thing or two (okay...maybe 10!) about handling an energetic, sometimes stubborn, power pup like me. Boredom isn't something I'm into, and all of this energy gets me into trouble, so lots of time to burn it is more of a necessity than an option. I have learned so many great commands like sit, down, stay and do great pack walks. I have worked on my impulse control immensely. I aim to please and bond with my person. I'm great with older kids, though younger one's (say...preteens and below) aren't always my best friends. I need structure, and sometimes I need space, so someone who understands that would be ideal. I do like other dogs as long as they're strong and pack-oriented like me, but cats...well, we don't exactly get along. I love getting my daily exercise and would make the perfect partner for someone who enjoys staying active (and those car rides...let's just say I'll be the one with the floppy tongue in the back window!). My favorite way to show affection? Laying my head in your lap or keeping a close watch over you—I’ve got a protective side too! My story started in Rosharon, where I was chasing after a truck, hoping for a friend. The kind people in the truck gave me some food but couldn’t keep me. Thankfully, my foster mom (who works closely with 3LP! ) saved me without even meeting me first. I was so lonely that I wasn't the happiest pup at first, but she showed me so much love and patience that I'm finally ready for a forever family. Sure; it's been a journey figuring out where my piece of the puzzle fits, but I think I'm getting close to finding it. If you’re ready for a loyal, athletic companion who’ll be by your side through all your adventures, I’m your girl. I can’t wait to meet you! Story
Chanel is a gorgeous, sweet dog that was given a rough start in life. She loves going for rides in trucks, playing in the yard, and most of all, snuggling on the couch. All she wants is affection and stability. She loves every person she meets, big or small. She has become the official greeter of our business! We would love to keep Chanel but unfortunately due to her previous home situation, she cannot be around other dogs or cats. We took her in during an emergency but have to prioritize the animals we already have. She deserves the best home in the world and I’m set on finding it for her.

Story
Rene was wandering around the block for several weeks, until he was given the opportunity to enter the home of one of the rescuers. He has been a very protective, loving dog, and from the first moment he was always grateful. He has gained weight and is ready for his new home. He loves to get close to the fence to be petted by neighbors. He is good with cats, although because of his size we do not leave him unsupervised when he is with them, and he lives with most females. He doesn't like to have another male around, he is the alpha and everyone knows it, but with people, he is the biggest baby of them all. He loves treats, lots of love and affection, going for walks and playing with balls and rubber toys. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
