Story
Atlas is a Cane Corso mix, and around 3 months old. Very playful pup, but he doesn't know his own size yet and routinely will trip over his large feet. A little argumentative and stubborn, Prior dog owners would have priority over adoption. That said, he loves people and other dogs and wants to have a good time. Please contact for more information or to set up a meet and greet!

Story
*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own! A Note from the Foster: Louise is an Anatolian Shepherd mix who is truly one of a kind—both in how she looks and how she carries herself. From the moment she arrived, she surprised us with her calm, sweetness, and quiet confidence. While her sister Thelma has the more traditional Anatolian Shepherd coloring, Louise is her opposite, with a striking, unique look and the coolest eyes. Louise’s temperament is just as special as her appearance. She’s incredibly happy, with a tail that’s almost always wagging and a soft, smiley expression that makes her a joy to be around. She’s confident but gentle, social without being pushy, and has an easy, steady presence that feels rare. She’s a long, tall girl who weighed about 50 pounds at intake and is very healthy. Louise adapted immediately to meeting new dogs, including our 8-year-old resident dog and another foster pup only 4-months-old. She reads other dogs well, listens super well, and fits right in...very mature for a one-year-old! Louise is already great on a leash, did amazing in the car, has had no accidents, and sleeps quietly overnight. She loves toys, enjoys playing with the other pups, and balances her playful side with a calm, affectionate nature. She’s adventurous, loving, and genuinely tuned in to her environment. She’s truly one of the coolest fosters we’ve had—happy, unique, and steady in a way that’s hard to describe until you meet her. Louise is available as a foster-to-adopt, making her a wonderful option for someone ready to see if she’s the perfect match. If you’re looking for a dog who stands out in every way, Louise is something special 💛

A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own! A Note from the Foster: Thelma came to rescue from Texas and has adapted well to the northern winters. She is friendly around people and is overcoming her timid characteristic. It takes her a little while to warm up to new dogs, but once she realizes they are not aggressive she is fine with them and willing to associate. She keeps her kennel clean and sleeps quietly in it all night. She is a very slow eater, so it would be best to feed her separately or in her kennel so that she can eat at her own pace. Overall she is a great dog and would love to find her forever home so she can be loved on. She doesn't appear to be interested in cats at all. So I think k would be fine in a home with cats or other dogs.... or just herself in a home.
