Thankfully, she’s now with us, spayed, safe, and ready for a brand-new beginning. And let us tell you — she is so done having puppies and more than ready to just be someone’s beloved companion.She’s around 5 years old and appears to be a Labrador / Cane Corso mix, with stunning deep brown eyes that practically beg for a gentle pet. Ursa is a big girl with an even bigger heart.She does wonderfully with other dogs, is housebroken, and is incredibly affectionate. She has also been around children and does great with them. The only thing she asks is a home without cats, as they’re a bit too tempting for her.Ursa is also the proud mom of the 12 adorable puppies currently in our shelter — and now it’s her turn to be loved, spoiled, and cherished.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who has so much affection to give, Ursa is ready for her forever home.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
