Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. DOZER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED! Say hello to sweet Dozer! Dozer is a 2 year old Carolina dog mix that about 50lbs. He thrives on love and attention from his humans. He likes balls of all sizes, fuzzy toys and friends to play with. This boy will make a wonderful addition to a loving, fun family! Dozer is an active boy, that will do best in a home with another dog for him to play with. He does like to chase cats if they run, but also plays gently if they give him a chance. He is great with the foster puppies in his home. He teaches the babies how to play, and watches over them. He is a smart and handsome guy. He is leash, kennel, and house trained. Expensive toys aren't necessary for this sweet boy as sticks are his favorite! He'll pick them up, run with them, and fetch them. Dozer  rides very well, and his favorite place to go to is Tractor Supply. He loves meeting people and being the center of attention. Dozer is ready for adoption. He is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. Story
BARBIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Barbie is a 5-year-old weighing around 40 lbs with a sweet, gentle soul. She’s partially blind in one eye, but it doesn’t slow her down or dampen her spirit one bit. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to sit. Barbie walks nicely on a leash using either a prong collar or a martingale. She’s great with dogs, kids, and cats, and does wonderfully being left home alone while you’re at work—no destruction, no drama. Barbie enjoys a calm lifestyle and prefers being near her people. She’ll fetch a ball a little, but toys aren’t really her thing. What is her thing? Snuggling in bed and keeping you company. She has no allergies, isn’t picky about food, and takes treats very gently. While she’s not a fan of baths, she’s patient and cooperative for nail trims. Overall, Barbie is an easy, low-maintenance companion who just wants to be close to you. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving dog who fits easily into home life, Barbie could be your perfect match. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Barbie up north to her new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Barbie here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:36 am

Story
Tawny is a delightful Carolina Dog mix with a heart full of love and an adventurous spirit. There’s nothing she enjoys more than being with her family, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate pup. Whether she’s lounging in the sun, playing in the yard, or going on an outdoor adventure, Tawny is always happiest when she’s by your side. Tawny was in North Carolina for a big snow storm and she loved it! This sweet girl rides well in the car and is fantastic on a leash, making her an excellent travel and walking buddy. She absolutely loves water, so if you enjoy hiking, camping, or trips to the lake, Tawny will be right there, ready to join in on the fun. Her favorite backyard pasttime - playing a good game of fetch! She gets along wonderfully with all dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-dog household. She would fit right in with a dog that wants to play. She does have a habit of jumping when excited, so a home without toddlers would be best. She has been in a household with cats and is good with the ones that are not hissing or aggressive with her. We recommend a home without cats for safety purposes. Tawny is very affectionate and thrives on attention and affection. She is fully potty trained. She does well in a kennel but prefers to be on the couch or bed with her family. Currently being fostered in Kannapolis, NC, Tawny is looking for a forever home where she can be part of an active and loving family. If you’re searching for a playful, adventurous, and affectionate companion, Tawny is ready to be your best friend! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Sonny, also known as Chicken Nugget, a 6-month-old sweetheart who is equal parts adorable, loyal, and just a little bit sensitive in the cutest way. Sonny is 100% potty trained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to a home that’s ready for a young pup. He’s still very much a puppy, learning about the world one step at a time, and new adventures can feel a little scary for him at first. Because of that, Sonny thrives when he has another confident dog by his side. Having a dog friend isn’t just a bonus for him, it’s his number one requirement. He looks to other dogs for comfort, guidance, and play, and truly comes out of his shell when he has a buddy. This sweet boy has a gentle, loving nature and bonds deeply with his people. Once he feels safe, he’ll happily follow you around and soak up all the affection you have to give. He does best in an active home where he can continue building confidence, explore, and play. Sonny is not suited for apartment living and will need a home with space to move and a family committed to giving him the exercise and structure a young pup needs. If you have a playful, friendly dog and are looking to add a soft-hearted, loyal companion to your home, Sonny could be your perfect match. He may be a little shy at first, but with love, patience, and a canine best friend, Sonny will grow into the most devoted and happy boy. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
