Story
Hay Dude Equine Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Texas. All of our dogs live in foster homes in TX and are transported to their new states once adopted. All adopters must be 21+. Applications can be found at haydudeequine.org. 🐾 Meet Milo! 💛 Hi, I'm **Milo**, an 8-month-old, 45-pound Husky mix, and I'm here to tell you that I am **just a genuinely good boy.** I have a fun, playful puppy side, but I also have something pretty special for a young dog: an **amazing off switch!** When it's time to play, I'm ready to go. When it's time to relax, I'm perfectly happy to settle down and hang out with my people. Basically, I'm the best of both worlds! My story is a little sad, but it has a very happy ending. I was found wandering along a highway late one night. Two other dogs had tragically been hit by cars—likely my companions—and I was staying close to them, desperately trying to avoid the traffic. Thankfully, traffic was light that night. When my rescuer pulled over and called to me, I walked right up without hesitation. I let them put a leash on me and even picked me up and put me in the car. **From the very first second we met, I showed everyone what a sweet, trusting boy I am.** ❤️ And my personality? Well, I am pretty much everyone's dream dog! I'm **wonderful with babies, kids, dogs, and cats.** I may occasionally try to convince a cat that it would be fun to play with me, but I'm not aggressive at all. If the cat gives me a hiss or a swat, I immediately understand the assignment and politely back away. 😂 I'm also **exceptionally quiet** and rarely bark. I'm incredibly easygoing and adaptable, so I could fit into just about any home. A calm household where we go for walks and have some daily playtime would make me happy. But if your home is busy and lively with kids, dogs, and lots of activity, **I'm totally down for that too!** As long as I'm with my people, I'm a happy guy. When I'm not busy being adorable, you'll probably find me playing with my **stuffed plush toys**. My current favorite is a BIG stuffed yellow duck. 🐥 And if you really want to make me happy, rub my face! I absolutely love it and will gently lick your hands while you give me my favorite face rubs. 🥹 I'm young, healthy, happy, friendly, quiet, great with everyone, and have a fantastic ability to settle when the fun is over. After everything I went through, I think I deserve a family who will show me just how wonderful life can be. **If you're looking for a truly good boy who can be your adventure buddy, your playmate, AND your professional couch companion, I might just be your guy.** 💛🐾

Story
SOS!! Cinnamon Sugar SOS - - she was only given 1 month of foster. Meet Cinnamon Sugar, a 2–3-year-old, 50-lb sweetheart who has spent far too long simply trying to survive after someone seemingly left her behind. Everything about Cinnamon tells us she was once someone’s dog. She is incredibly well-behaved, potty trained in the yard, wonderful on a leash, perfect in the car, and knows exactly how to live alongside people. At some point, the family she trusted disappeared, leaving this incredibly sweet girl to fend for herself. Cinnamon stayed around the same neighborhood, seemingly believing it was still her home. But life there became increasingly dangerous. Feral street pack dogs bullied and chased her, neighbors no longer wanted her around, and recently a loose dog even attacked her. Somehow, through all of it, Cinnamon remained gentle, trusting, and desperate for affection. Thankfully, one kind neighbor has offered Cinnamon a safe foster home — but only for one month. We now have a small window to find this deserving girl the forever family she has been waiting for. Cinnamon is spayed, vaccinated, 4DX negative, fully vetted, and up to date on preventatives. She loves other dogs, has lived peacefully around cats, and is truly the kind of easy, loving companion who just wants to belong. Cinnamon is currently in Puerto Rico, but she can be adopted anywhere in the U.S. Like all of our Puerto Rico rescues, we will arrange her flight off the island to her adoptive family, and her transport is included in her adoption fee. Someone may have abandoned Cinnamon once, but she never stopped believing in people. Now she has one month of safety while we find the person who will finally show her that this time, she is home forever.

Story
Located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders. Daisy was brought in, surrendered due to her being chained to a doghouse. She is sweet girl who loves people! She is energetic (loves to play fetch), happy and gets along with other dogs. She has a very joyful personality who did not let her start ruin her life. She knows her name, does well on a leash and does good in a car. She would be a great adventure companion who is open to new adventures with a new family!

ROGER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Are you looking for a big, cuddly couch potato? You have found your pup! Roger is a 75-pound, 2-year old shepherd mix whose love of naps and cuddle sessions are matched only by his love of booty skritches. He has an EAR-resistible face with his light eyes and one ear always at attention.  Despite his tall stature, he’s a bit of a scaredy cat. He’s timid of strangers at first and prefers a home without children. Despite months of coaching and training, it has become clear he will not get over his fear of children and so he is now looking for a kid-free forever home. He is the happiest, snuggliest boy! He even greets his grown ups with a “smile” when they walk through the door. Please don’t try to tell him he’s not a lap dog; he’d never believe you.  Roger loves other dogs and has not been cat-tested. He is house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash. Roger is truly the cuddliest, most loving lazy bones — an old soul, no doubt! Let’s find him a home where he will get the big love he deserves!    He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Roger up north to his new family. You can apply to adopt him today!     If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Roger here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 26, 2026, 8:16 am

Story
Meet Carly, a sweet, happy, and affectionate pittie mix who believes life is best lived showered in hugs and cuddles! No one stays a stranger to Carly for long; whether she’s enthusiastically greeting you in the morning or playing with other dogs, she is always ready to make new friends. Carly is the ultimate cuddle bug—hugs are her absolute favorite, and she will happily pause a walk midway through just to be pet and showered with attention. Beyond her incredibly loving and loyal nature, she’s a well-mannered and adaptable companion who listens well to direction, rides great in the car, and loves her outdoor walks (even if she pulls just a little when she gets excited). When play time is over, this balanced girl knows how to relax and enjoys spending her downtime in her crate chewing on her favorite bone. Fully vetted and ready for adventure, Carly would thrive in almost any home with an active adopter who wants a loving, loyal companion to include in their daily life.
