Story
DOZER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!   Dozer is 1.5 years old and about 50lbs. He thrives on love and attention from his humans. He likes balls of all sizes,  fuzzy toys and friends to play with. This  boy will make a  wonderful addition to a loving, fun family! Dozer is an active boy, that will do best in a home with another dog for him to play with. He does like to chase cats if they run, but also plays gently if they give him a chance. He is great with the foster puppies in his home. He teaches the babies how to play, and watches over them. He is a smart and handsome guy. He is leash, kennel, and house trained. Expensive toys aren't necessary for this sweet boy as sticks are his favorite! He'll pick them up, run with them, and fetch them. Dozer  rides very well, and his favorite place to go to is Tractor Supply. He loves meeting people and being the center of attention. Dozer is ready for adoption. He is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Dozer up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Dozer here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Nala is a gorgeous tan Carolina dog mix who is also an enthusiastic adolescent. She is a medium sized dog weighing in at 46 lbs. Nala is looking for an experienced owner that will appreciate the highly intelligent dog that she is.Nala has a moderate to high energy level, and would make a wonderful sport dog prospect, or an avid adventure partner. Currently, she adores pack hikes and would be happy to not only carry water for herself, but for you too! She is a lot of fun, and enjoys playing with other dogs as well as romping around outside. She can be shy with people at first, but will warm up quickly once she feels comfortable.Nala is good with other dogs and children. She would do best in a home without cats. If your family already has another dog and you are looking to add a beautiful pup, Nala could be your girl!Nala is house trained, and in the process of mastering her loose leash walking skills. She is a very smart girl, and already has some basic obedience down. She will surely continue to flourish with the help of her new family. The adoption fee for Nala is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Story
Meet Marco, a three-year-old, 50-pound bundle of joy with a heart-melting smile and an incredibly soft coat. His DNA results reveal an amazing blend of 17 different breeds, showcasing his unique and charming personality. Marco was discovered as a stray in rural North Carolina in November 2021, spending 17 months in a shelter confined to a kennel. Despite the challenging start to his life, he has shown remarkable resilience and is now thriving in his foster home in Connecticut, where he has been since March 2023, making him our longest resident ever. Marco is a true cuddle enthusiast, loving nothing more than to snuggle up next to his humans. He enjoys sleeping in bed and will settle in for the night, making sure to snuggle under a cozy blanket that he paws at to get just right. Playtime is Marco's favorite—he's a pro at zoomies, fetch, and tug of war, and his joy is contagious. He’s also highly intelligent and enjoys engaging activities like snuffle mats, food puzzles, and lick mats. Marco is always ready for an adventure and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs and is also fine with cats, making him a great companion for a multi-pet household. While Marco has made great strides since leaving the shelter, he is nervous around new people and needs time to build trust. Once he feels secure, he forms strong bonds and is incredibly loving. Marco needs an adult-only home, as children make him anxious. He requires a patient and experienced adopter willing to work with him on his reactivity to strangers and his tendency to get overstimulated. He has already learned to sit, and he is house and crate trained. His adoption fee is $350, and he is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. For those interested in adopting this special boy, please fill out an application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. If you have any questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves.Adoption Fee: Local = $225 - Transport = $525 (out of state to Great Lakes or New England regions)The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering.
