Her perky ears are always tuned in for fun, and her curiosity makes every day feel like a new adventure. Equal parts playful and affectionate, Lhara is a happy-go-lucky girl who believes the best place to be is right by your side.Lhara is a social butterfly who assumes every dog she meets is her new best friend. She loves a good romp and wrestle and is still learning how to read other dogs’ cues. She’s great with kids and would likely do well with a dog-savvy cat who doesn’t mind a little enthusiastic friendship.Brains and beauty? Check. Lhara is smart, house-trained, and familiar with a crate routine—though she earned furniture privileges in foster care thanks to her excellent manners (a very good girl indeed). While she hasn’t had tons of leash experience yet, she’s done well so far and is eager to keep learning.Lhara isn’t just a pretty face—she’s a full fur package that will bring joy, laughter, and love wherever she goes. One lucky home is about to gain a loyal sidekick, a constant source of smiles, and a dog who will remind you daily that life is simply better with a little playfulness. Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
CiCi is a super sweet, smart and resilient girl! She is about 2-1/2 years old, 55lbs and loving life in a foster home even though she is missing one back leg. This does not slow this fun loving girl down one bit! She runs and plays with the other dogs in her home and is only considers this change in her life when jumping up in her mom's truck or on a bed, which she achieves, but cautiously. Her foster mom says that "She smiles sometimes when you are talking to her and she is excited. Her personality is lovely as are her manners, even if she can be a bed hog! She enjoys walks and playing with all the other dogs, and loves to go for rides. She seems uninterested in cats and she is a really smart girl!" CiCi is microchipped, up to date on vetting, spayed, crate trained and house broken. If you would like to give CiCi the wonderful second chance she deserves and welcome her into your family, please email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com for an application.

Story
Rosie is a smart, steady, and loyal girl who loves nothing more than being by your side—she’s the ultimate “helper heeler.” She has nice manners, a calm presence, and a playful side that shines once she feels comfortable.Rosie’s journey began when she was picked up as a stray puppy by a young mother. Unfortunately, when her owner became ill and had to move out of state for treatment, Rosie couldn’t go along. Now safe in a southern foster home, she’s adapting well and is ready to find her forever family.Rosie has a bit of a bossy streak with other dogs and can be selective, but she generally warms up. She currently plays nicely with her 7-month-old Lab foster sister and enjoys her canine companionship. Rosie should be fed separately, as she is protective of her food around other dogs, though she has no issues at all with people. This smart girl has already completed basic obedience training. She is housetrained to a doggie door, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and is learning to see her crate as her own “treat machine.”When it’s time for fun, Rosie shines! She loves chasing after balls, wading in her kiddie pool, splashing at water from a spray nozzle, and carrying around her favorite big, soft stuffed toys.Rosie will thrive with a family who can give her structure, playtime, and plenty of love. In return, she’ll be your loyal companion and trusted sidekick.Name: RosieBreed: Carolina Dog MixSex: FemaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 40.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: Selective; needs slow introsGood with Cats: NoAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Texas IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
