Her perky ears are always tuned in for fun, and her curiosity makes every day feel like a new adventure. Equal parts playful and affectionate, Lhara is a happy-go-lucky girl who believes the best place to be is right by your side.Lhara is a social butterfly who assumes every dog she meets is her new best friend. She loves a good romp and wrestle and is still learning how to read other dogs’ cues. She’s great with kids and would likely do well with a dog-savvy cat who doesn’t mind a little enthusiastic friendship.Brains and beauty? Check. Lhara is smart, house-trained, and familiar with a crate routine—though she earned furniture privileges in foster care thanks to her excellent manners (a very good girl indeed). While she hasn’t had tons of leash experience yet, she’s done well so far and is eager to keep learning.Lhara isn’t just a pretty face—she’s a full fur package that will bring joy, laughter, and love wherever she goes. Meet the sweet and sensitive, Red. This girl has had a pretty rough past, but she`s ready to start fresh. Red came from an unsafe and unsanitary enviornment where she never got to practice being a `real dog.` This means that everything outside of her previous living environment is new(and therefore, frightening) to her. She is looking for a safe place to land where she can slowly come out of her shell at her own pace- without any expectations. She would benefit from a very quiet, predictable environment where no social pressure could be put on her. Here at the shelter, we have found that reuniting red with her best friend, Spot has made an immense difference for her. These two sisters being together has been mutually benefiical, and helps them build confidence! They love to go on walks together and wrestle in the yard. If your home is big enough to help two worried ladies find a safe place to land, these girls would love to stay together. They are able to make more progress moving thorugh the world as a pair!
